I'm just as much the character Data as Sand is the Person of Christ.

If you want to take reworking the Bible seriously and are convinced it is the word of God, obviously the Author needs to do the job. It should be a simple task to inspire the huge number of well off fundamentalists in the USA to dig up enough funds to send the Bible up on a rocket for editing by the Almighty and halt all further printing until the revised edition descends in a golden halo to the office of the designated publisher. No doubt bids for the job will be arriving very quickly as there is sure to be a huge audience.

I have a copy of the Masoretic Text and can partially read Hebrew (I don't have a large vocabulary though.) I also have copies the Textus Receptus and Byzantine Text of the New Testament. Vulgate too, though that is only a 1,600 year old translation.

Assuming God is up to date it is irrelevant to play with obsolete texts. I'm sure He will send a revised edition back in binary code.

This thread raises the question, depending on the belief system I suppose, if Jesus would come to visit, just to visit, will he use the Internet? or maybe puting that in another way, to make it more "believable" if an angel comes, one who is of a high rank in heaven, comes here, will he use the Internet?

This is interesting, because, after all, who will believe a post on the internet to be certain? even posts claiming whatever they claim is doubtful, not to mention this.

Ok, if that example was too much, how about God or an angel speaking to someone through the internet, similar as stated in biblical stories? I think we get back again with the same with any post on the web. Quite interesting I might say.

If there supposedly was a person named Jesus that was God, and Jesus came back, no one would believe that he was actually Jesus.

All He would have to do is stand on the surface of a tub of water.

I have E-Sword, and it is still the same text regardless of the media used. Stasis in a historical text is more valuable than haphazardly editing it to fit the whims of the current day.

I'm sure that decision would be better left to God.

Bad news.. not good..

In this day and age.. everything gets fast tracked..

So.. I suggest.. we skip the sermons..

And get on with the crucifiction..

Capture in on a mobile..

And upload it to U-Tube.

Evidently someone thinks I created this thread. It's lots of fun, but not my doing.

Sorry, I can't see your IP to discern otherwise.
