Look it up on factcheck.org. - http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2008 ... ex_ed.html

The bill was for comprehensive, age-appropriate K-12 sex education that was not explicit for younger children.

For kindergarden, that was clearly understood to mean teaching kids about not talking to strangers and inappropriate contact from adults. Parents were given the option to have their kids exempted from these classes. The ads blasting Obama for this are dishonest.

Have any of you bothered to actually investigate Obama's positions on the issues, or are you just parroting right-wing talking points?

Standard Republican political weapon.

As opposed to the democrats that have 50% of the vote and 3% of the power...

Frankly, I just don't give a damn about Obama or his views. I wouldn't vote for him nor offer him a cup of coffee. I wouldn't even shake his hands.

"Oh, and you do realize that he doesn’t write those speeches that everyone (read stupid people, celebrities, and straight-line liberal/marxist/socialist whackjobs, and naive/historically uneducated young people) is so moved by? Those are created by people called “speechwriters,” who are professionally trained and tested political writers of moving prose. Barack does not have the command of history of global politics to attempt to pull off his speeches’ content himself, that much you can be guaranteed."

From above link ^^..

question oscuria.. IF you saw him stranded in a desert and dieing and you had the opportunity to give him a cup of water.. would you do it?.. 8O

Bush didn't write his speeches either. I can remember hearing it somewhere I think on the news.

he's smart though.. i bet he's thinking.. if i make stupid LITTLE mistakes then no one will see the giant lies behind the scenes.. same reason George Bush jnr makes a lot of errors.. IMO :) keep em laughing at the little things..

Who's your candidate? Clearly it isn't Obama.

Show compassion and compassion will be shown to you. Forgive and you will be forgiven. But if you refuse to forgive or show compassion, neither of these wil be shown to you.
