If a smudge that resembled Jesus appeared on a wall, I would go "okay, so it's a Jesus-shaped smudge. Anything else?"

Hey Toad, it's um...satire. The Onion is making fun of religious nuts...

That was the onion?

The O.P. is a filthy piece of propaganda.
The user should be banned.

WTF :D LOL :D

I love the Onion. I especially love the stupid criminals section. haha. I haven't read the Onion in a while, though. I'm not quite sure they still have that bit. I hope so. lol I love that little bit up there, though. It's a nice little light-hearted laugh, maybe to help lighten the religious tension on this site, cos I know there's a lot of it.

On the same wavelength as the Onion, perhaps... Has anyone read any of the Darwin Awards series? It's quite excellent. Good for a laugh. It's full of stories about people who improve our gene pool... by eliminating themselves from it.

Who's willing to bet that a line up will start of people thinking the image is Jesus? He had a beard too.

This is so oxymoron, Darwin stopped believing in christanity after his daughter died, he cared little about religion, so why are these people turning him into a religion? Chances are that if he where alive to see this, he may think it ridicious.

Nobody is turning him into a religion. The Onion is a satirical news organization. They make up stories that poke fun at pretentiousness and social injustice.

Here is a good example: http://www.theonion.com/content/news/we ... xperiences

What makes them so good is that the stories are in someway totally believable.

that, I think, is the point of the article in the faux news site, The Onion. It is ridiculous  to think seeing random patterns and fixating upon them for long periods of time the patterns start to make a sort of sense to them.
