The polls are closed topic

I am going to look up the percent of voter turnout in this election. In another thread I urged all Canucks to go out and vote, no matter what stripe. :)

I was not aware the Bloc had candidates outside of Quebec. :?

No they dont run candidates outside Quebec. Technically they are supposed to in order to be a national party.

I like Dion, he is just a little too bookish, like a professor :)

He is a professor! He was a political science professor at the University of Montreal until he first got elected as an MP. If he had not been elected, I would have had to take is mandatory class as part of my bachelors' ....

I could have heard him speak for hours :)

He reminds me of the vice principal of my high school, who, Coincidently, was the force that encouraged me to quit high school, saying I would be clamoring to get back in after a year of the real world. Apparently thats what he did in high school, fled back to the educational system, became a teacher and never left until he got the public service bug and ran for office.

Hi Mister VanB! I never went back! And I dont regret it!
