It proves lots of things. It proves that chimps are hairy and have white teeth and perhaps even that they can smile.

Because you said the photo doesn't prove anything. I merely pointed out it does prove some things.

I still don't get it.

My worldview has never been rigidly Creationist or Evolutionist, btw. In my mind, these two are rather fluid and have mixed. I try to avoid intellectual dishonesty.

Excellent. Therefor, in the name of honesty we both must admit that chimpanzees are hairy, have white teeth, and perhaps smile. Nothing like looking truth square in the face.

Wow! We're doing great! Now shall we explore the photo in greater detail to demonstrate it shows a great many things, many more than we have revealed so far or should we just go ahead and assume that chimpanzees are so much more alike to humans than, say, humming birds or butterflies or alligators that it's probable there is a good deal of genetic similarity there? Or perhaps you find that improbable?

looking at the picture its quite clear we resemble monkeys. also we share 96% of our genes with chimps. Oh my goodness no you didnt. where does the 4% come from? the aliens
