Simplifying Christianity and its Inverse(Satanism)
If your not with you are against. You can't serve one God(a fake one) and not the other.

Assuming only selfish motives, Christianity seems better, but the thing is that Christianity cannot guarantee its good side. Satanism can guarantee the good side, but the bad side isn't certain.
Suddenly, Satanism seems more appealing.
Don't you forget the the after life is forever.
You can have lots of fun in Christianity. We just are moral in the way we do have fun.
Satanism is immoral and they are normally not good people.

Not what I meant, and not what they mean.
What "Eternal Security" means is that once you're saved, you can't renounce it. Most of these folks tend to be on the predestination end of it, which means that if you aren't designated by God as not going to make it into heaven, you're screwed, no matter how much you believe. On the other hand, if you've been designated by God as going to make it, you're in no matter what you do.

I noticed your phrasing was not what I thought it was, so I had to edit my answer accordingly.

Satanism: Sitting in front of a nice warm fire.
Wrong again you are.
Heaven: A beautiful place beyond ones imagination that's warm and loving.
Hell: A burning place that is full of fear and hatred.

God gave us all free will to choose our destiny. Salvation is free and for everyone.
Those that don't take it is they're choice and not choosing isn't an option.

Since nobody has returned from either place to report on conditions we have better understandings of the climate of the outer planets than we do of the theoretical theological places.

I can comprehend people coming out of Hell, but if you believe anybody would return to Earth from an eternal afterlife in a perfect place then your gullibility outranks anything I could have previously imagined.

ShadowGirl:
I agree. That being said, I know it feels good, but running around screaming doesn't help. People of other religions, Atheists, Agnostics, and anyone I might have missed DO NOT LIKE BEING YELLED AT!!
Do you want them to yell that you're a loose-cannon-religious-psycho-nut-idiot? No, you don't. I've found that a fair amount of the people who launch into the stereotype responses have dealt with the stereotype Christian: Loudmouthed, angry, aggressive, and generally not friendly.
If you want it to work, be their friend. That's all it takes, I've seen it work several times in my life. Sooner or later, *they'll* bring it up, and if you're gentle about it, you can talk to them about it. Just get to know them, the rest works out in due time.
Sand:
But what if I like playing a harp? They could be used for some pretty sweet music if people could plug a wall of Marshall amps into them. It'd be epic!

Well yeah it can be done without yelling . I'm not the stereotypical kind. I have some non christian friends as well.

And what if I don't like playing any musical instrument. Will I be sentenced to harp playing for eternity? Do they have ipods in Heaven? Are you really that stupid?

You don't have to play anything in Heaven. You do it on your own terms. Yeah they might have Ipods or something better but the possibility are plentiful.

Damn, Sand, you're a little fired up. I was just making a joke. You know a short statement intended to elicit laughter?
I found a board that has people so anti-religion that they get more personally insulting and less rational than the people who believe in and pray to a divine God.
Calm down. If we are pissing you off, don't read the thread. If you think what we are posting is offensive *according to board rules*, then by all means report us. If you feel like reading the post, and it's not offensive, don't make an ass out of yourself when you reply. You're supposed to be rational one, what with your strict adherence to only that which can be logically proven.
