There were two different people who played Kane.

Julian Beck played him in the first Poltergeist, but I forgot who played him in Poltergeist II.

Actually Reverend Kane is actually Elvis Presley who has had serious surgery due to eating too many fried peanut butter sandwiches.

As someone that was in the exgay movement I have to say this. Most anti-gay people are nothing like Fred Phelps, I have had a real difficult time giving up my exgay identiyy since being diagnosed as an Aspie. Homophobia in the Church and society is very interesting, I am obsessed with the fact that people don't like me over something I can't control, I really wish I were straight being a homosexual is viewed as a spiritual perversion while being Aspie/autie is viewed as a mental perversion.....Which is worse?
