I'm kinda leery that 'intelligence = liberality'. not that it wouldn't be a 'good' thing, but one reason there are still Republicans around is that there are actually a few 'smart' ones at that. Granted, we wouldn't want them to win...ever...but I've been around long enough to see Democrats being 'dope-slapped' enough times to say don't ever underestimate your enemy. And above all, keep an eye on their point of view, because it's what you have to counter every election.

may I point something out? If america feels a certain way like the right claims, how come we elected LIBERALS into office? I know! because the last one we elected into office f****d the entire country over for 8 years!

I can only surmise what goes in place of that ellipsis; I'm going to guess "best. dude. evah." Am I right or am I right?

Biden impressed the hell out of me at the VP debate. I like the guy, and I kind of wish the Democratic ticket had been flipped. No one would be able to accuse Biden of lacking experience, and after 8 years as VP, no one would really be doubting Obama's qualifications either. Alas, once Obama is done, Biden will be too hold to have a real shot at the Presidency.

actaully, law states if a prez serves his entire term, a VP can't run for president, hence why cheney is whining in retirment instead of putting himself in line for the next election.

No it doesn't. Remember Al Gore running in 2000? How about Bush running in 1988?

The reason Cheney is retired is because (a) he is old and in ill health and (b) he is an evil bastard who even Americans are not stupid enough to vote for.

You'll never guess how many terms Bill served.

Um... yeah, the President is barred from running after two terms. The VP can still run, because they were never President. Al Gore ran after being Clinton's VP for two terms. George HW Bush did the same after Reagan's two terms. Nixon was Eisenhower's VP, and Ike served two terms before Nixon ran in 1960.

Are we going to have to pull out the 22nd Amendment and explain it to you word by word?

corrupt?! what the hell you token on?! actually, he is very anti-courrtuption, unlike like cheney, who swung no bid contracts for hilburton

He's just a puppet who works for Wall Street. Seriously, look up how much lobbyist money he got during his campaign. It was more than McCain. This is public information.

If McCain had gotten more campaign money, we'd seen him in office instead.

Really, it look like a real Plutocracy

McCain did effectively have more money though, when you count in the other political organisations on his side (but not officially Republican so not included in the stats)

In all honesty, with that thing as his VP candidate, the more publicity, the worse he would have done.

In all honesty, McCain's campaign was a farce on every level.

Maybe next time, Shadowgirl, you could post something besides a satirical & sarcastic picture and argue or proliferate a point.

There's a venerable whale-load of these (both left & right-wing) out there.

Take the high road. 8)

Remember, the media was/is in the tank for Obama. After they have made money off of his success, they (the media) will turn on him and start doing some real reporting. After Obama and the Democrats refusing to close down Gitmo, deceiving voters of his socialist intentions, and his wonderful economic plan, I have a feeling some ACORN links are going to be WELL DOCUMENTED here within the next year. ENRON all over again.

That reminds of a quote from a book called the Chrysalids. It was like, "The dumber they are, the more just like everyone else they think everyone oughta be."
