Well it just might be legal for me to smoke a fat bowl now in my state, which is awesome...I wonder what the feds are going to do about it. I certainly am glad I don't have to worry about romney being president for another 4 years not that having obama is that terribly much better.

On the bright side, since Romney lost and has said he won't run again if he did, in 4 years neither of them will be on the ballot.

I mean, how stupid do you have to be to re-elect a president with a proven tract record for failure and divisiveness?

Not that I care that stupid people want to starve to death, I'm just not appreciating the moronic masses taking me down with them.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to board up the windows and stockpile guns, ammo and canned food. You know for when the U.N. comes into the country and declares martial law.

Have fun laughing at me, no one ever respects my opinion and I don't expect that to stop anytime soon.

I don't base my logic on false hope and short change.

On your first point I think we can all agree. :thumright:

If your U.N. invasion takes place I will gladly accept your I told you so. It's strange that Romney didn't play up that bit, it's almost as if the leading republicans don't think it's a real issue...or are secretly in on it! 8O

Republicans are f*****g eunuchs. They talk and talk and talk about constitutional adherence and intelligent economic policy and maintaining strong ethics. Yet when presented with the most vulnerable head of state since Herbert Hoover, they puss out and soft ball and let a bunch of punks sh*****g in parks determine the course of the country.

Of course Democrats are a party of batshit elitists who think global warming is real and that 99% tax rates are a swell idea.

Honestly, I hope I'm wrong about the UN thing. But I read scary s**t in my travels.

That's "TRACK" record. A "Tract" is a piece of land or a religious pamphlet.

Have you ever stopped to wonder why?

Neither do I.

I based mine on two facts: (1) This country was founded by wealthy white protestant men from Europe who owned slaves; and (2) We don't need any more wealthy white protestant men trying to turn back the calendar to 1776.

So you're a racist? (And a grammar nazi, apparently.)

And I used to wonder why, but I found it to be a waste of time and energy so now I just hate everyone and I feel better.

No, I voted against the wealthy white protestant slave-owner culture -- I voted against racism.

Yes. Some people make it easy to be one.

You may feel better, but it's likely that your hatred of everyone that demolishes your chances of earning their respect, just like Mr. Romney's hatred of 47% of America's citizens cost him the election.

The presidential election went about as I expected, it isn't very close in electoral college but the popular vote is extremely close. The Democrats performing so well in senate races is certainly surprising though, the GOP certainly shot themselves in the foot in a couple of those races but Dem candidates still overpreformed.

In then end, its looking tomorrow will look just like yesterday. Obama with the presidency, Democratic control of the Senate, and a strong GOP majority in the House. Yay, change.

At least Colorado and Washington legalized marijuana. I'm looking forward to all the new advocates of state's rights it will bring.

Gay marriage has also been legalized in Maine, Maryland, and Washington. An attempt to ban it in Minnesota was also defeated.

1. Hating whites makes you a racist.

2. Non-issue

3. You're doing little to change my view.

Such a shame. America is gonna be in more debt. I thought Americans were smart enough to vote fore change, that was Romney.

I pity the stupidity of your country.

Not my problem.

Pretty great result for Gary Johnson, looks like he'll break a million votes. The most ever for a Libertarian candidate.

i am surprised that things turned out the way they did. i thought for sure a plurality of voters would be dazzled with slick willard and his proud presentation of empty platitudes. i thought for sure that vast majorities of working class voters would gladly give up their medicare/medicaid/social security etc. just so they could stick it to all those liberal dems [and their "wrong color" or gay supporters] who had the nerve to invent those things in the first place for the benefit of the working class.

it doesn't appear that voters were particularly dazzled with either candidate

Obama was unpopular, Mitt was worse

Yeah ... it doesn't matter whose mule crossed the finish line first.

We may be going to Hell in a slop-bucket, but at least we can try to enjoy the ride.

in your opinion, would it have made a difference if slick willard had instead chosen a woman or a latino running mate?

Not an acceptance of Obama, but a rejection of Romney.
