As far as Bible, I read New testament many times but not the Old one.
I do plan to read Old one though, I just need to manage my time better and stop postponing it.
As far as scientific expertise, my Ph.D. is in Theoretical Physics, and not in experimental/applied one. When I took first two years of undergraduate physics they had laboratory sessions in that class, but they were limitted to things we were learning (Newtonian mechanics, Electromagnetism and Optics). Then there was a third year lab class that I had to take which was focused on circuits.
Other than that, I didn't have any connection to any laboratories. As a graduate student all my work was purely on paper. And as undergrad it was mostly on paper too, except for those few laboratories I just mentioned.
