It's about the real cause of Aspie bullying. The Aspies themselves, irritating others until they get beat up on. And it's why I no longer care.

Turn the other cheek yourself.

There are many resources in place for you guys to learn socially acceptable behaviour. For any Aspy who is connected to some support agency, you have the resource right there. Those people can help you learn socially acceptable behaviour. It's when Aspies insist on asinine behaviour and smarting offf all the time, they cry to heaven about the bullies. But what is the actual cause? Who is the provocateur?

It makes my blood boil when so much trouble goes into establishing these autism supports and the most important lessons go unlearned.

Expecting others to turn the other cheek? was that what Jesus had in mind?

What are you talking about?

No one deserves to be bullied and only a sociopath would suggest such a thing. Grow up, people have the RIGHT to criticise your words and ideas, people have the RIGHT not to be bullied.

No one desrves to be bullied, but it is through our words and actions that we can possibly provoke anger in others. Don't you see?

It doesn't matter. If you hold someone to a standard, then hold yourself to it also.

Eh no.

A Christian must turn the other cheek. Anyone else can fight back.

Kiddo, I have no trouble with sociability whatsoever. I get along with reasonable people with no trouble at all. What bugs me is Christians who want to beat me up because I point out some of the strange inconsistent things they believe in. If you confuse sociability with smashing people you are not atypical of a large number of Christians but you sure as hell aren't sociable.

EXACTLY! If you manipulate others by preaching to them to turn the other cheek but dont practice what you preach than you have got them in a Bind and can use the threat of force to exert control over them. And thats what christianity is all about: making people submissive. :D

Nietzsche thought so. I believe he called it a slave ideology.

If a person runs around badmouthing and verbally abusing others,
then how long do you think that person is going to be put up with by anyone?

I am accepted week-round, year-round, for all of my life thus far. It's not just a few hours on Sunday. I'm down at my church for much of the week while I'm not at school. I can't even remember any time, at any point in the week, that I've felt unwelcome...

A Christian church? A real Christian church? Where is this place of miracles?

Northern New Jersey, also known as not in the so-called "Bible Belt"...

Well ... to far from southern California to just "drop in" for a visit ... no way for you to provide evidence to support your claim ... so I guess I'll just have to take your word for it.

Best wishes.

Sorry you have to be so far away... But I do know that there are many of these churches throughout the nation. They're the ones that are actually busy leading lives prescribed by the Christian faith, rather than pointing out that others don't and bitching and moaning about it...

Those Types of churches are easy to find. Pick up the yellow pages and look at "Churches (Non-denominational)". These are generally the more live and love instead of live and shove this down non-believer's throats.

I've been to a fair amount of non-denominationals. They seem very nice - almost too nice - and yet they take a very liberal view of their gospels ... hmm ... d'ya think there might be a connection?

More liberal --> more loving --> more "Christ-Like"

More fundamental --> more judgmental --> less "Christ-Like"

I think I'm on to something!
