Why not machines
You know something.... I come on here, and I respectfully don't blast people for their beliefs... But I state my opinion, and I tell people truths they don't you don't wanna hear. And I prove it. But I'm usually respectful. And I get blasted for stating my opinion. I might have unusual or sometimes controversial opinions, but I have a since of right and wrong. Yet, I get blasted for stating my opinions.
But then people like AG and Chever get on here, psychopaths or people with psychopathic traits, AG gets on here openly bragging about his ego, and selfishness, lack of empathy, etc, Chever gets on here openly supporting a scientific elimination of humanity (and brags about his "elite" degrees), and nobody says anything. No body even cares. Nobody see's anything wrong with someone (apparently with an "elite" university degree) espousing extinguishing humanity, but I'm a "crazy conspiracy theorist".
All I'm asking is please, just look at yourselves from an outside point of view. Step outside yourselves and see how irrational many of you are.

I got a bunch of mail from them when I was in high school, so I won't count them out.
They are really good, but if I can get into an Ivy League school, so much the better.

My point is, if you blacklist (and yes, that is what you were suggesting) people because you find them odd or eccentric from academic opportunities, I can guarantee you that we will have a lot less thinkers and visionaries in the near future.
Dude, it's an internet forum, you don't have to get your undies in a twist and b***h to leading academic departments. Do you really think they would care?

Well if that is the case, I just hope someone convinces you that it's not your place to decide whether anyone on this planet lives or dies.
Yes, that was it.

It is the place of whichever party has the power to say. The US military is one such party.
I firmly believe that the human race will get whatever it is coming to it, good or bad. But things don't look too good right now.
Here's something I think about every time I take a walk, which you ought to try: imagine what your neighborhood looked like in 1908. Now imagine what it will look like in 2108. Will it look really, really sh***y? If so, we will have deserved every last bit of it.

I'm not bullshiting around any points. I am responding to the points that Seem to dominate the bigger context of each reply. My long-winded passages are a result of my brain always on "GO MODE."
As soon as I have finalized one idea, while I am typing my mind elaborates on possibilities and possible weaknesses or disparities in an argument that at first I had not thought about. This results in me typing more, and more, and more to get in as much detail for an idea, concept, or argument as I can.
Sometimes, adding in a little dynamic to the sentences for added affect.
That is why they can sometimes get confusing. Compound that, with the fact that I will occasionally erase parts or passages that I typed earlier(not proofread, but rather thought of some different or a better way to explain something from my perspective.), and you can sometimes get some really really complicated concepts arising.
If you skim a passage, that I type, I guarantee the majority points will not register. It literally needs to be read word for word. Like I said, Clarification is an option if asked...politely at that. Not in an offensive manner.
----
Additional point about the unclearness of my passages.
I hope you are not someone who tries to read into passages to figure out what type of PERSON, the respondent is in actuality. Are you? (simple question)
If you are, I can almost guarantee you will fail with me. I purposely do not let anyone know who I am in anyway. This is for many reasons, including it keeping people focused on the concepts rather than the people discussing them.
I also am not the type of person to question who I am in the Social sense of the word. For example, you have your punks, jocks, nerds, geeks, nice guys, fascists, businessmen, whores, b*****s, kings, queens, players, haters, lovers, peacekeepers, judges, goths, nuts, extroverts, introverts, gamblers, snobs, jerks, a**holes, bums, comedians, clowns, junkies, thinkers, doers, activists, feminists...etc.
I don't care to attribute myself to any of those, or much of anything at all for that matter. The best way to define me, would be as a man of whim. I have beliefs that jump all over the place. I might have something which is on one end of the spectrum and another belief all the way on the other end of the spectrum. My core beliefs are so all-over-the-place...that if you try to figure me out, you will simply get confused.
Dude, it's an internet forum, you don't have to get your undies in a twist and b***h to leading academic departments. Do you really think they would care?
Yeah, I'm probably worrying wayyyy too much. But to be fair, does it not worry you even just a tad that a man so obviously taken with the idea of killing everyone on the planet has his heart set on joining R&D at the US Military?
I share the same revulsion that you do. Except it's much broader in scope. In fact, it's entirely likely that I will hate the people I will work for. And I hate myself as much as anyone else.
Yeah, me too, but that doesn't mean I don't try to make my points coherent.
It's going to happen whether I'm there or not. While schizoid revenge fantasies are typically omnipotent, the rational part of mind recognizes there are such practical difficulties with trying to achieve omnipotence. Therefore, I have to compromise somehow. Regardless, taking a few days, a few hours, or even a few minutes away from billions of people adds up.

I'm telling you thats most likely a result of one of the many possibilities I provided in my last few replies:
1. Distinct grammar(this includes seperating paragraphs which are not different ideas, but that makes it easier to read or throw in emphasis on something)
2. Constantly typing, with partial deletions and additions
3. Some like to assosciate passages with the viewer to aid their reading. That is how some people think, and it may help them. However, doing so with me usually results in the person having problems, and then they can only locate the places where they think my values shift and lose focus of the presented material...Possibly both.
4. One of the other little things I said.
Generally I throw in a whole lot of ideas into one little area(even if that little area takes up the equivalent of three pages.)...without typing a 100page essay, I'm not sure what level of coherence to which you asribe.
