In fact, I posted it here on Wrong Planet years ago.) :)

Of course they have. So why did Sessions lie about it under oath?

Because Sessions wasn't fraternizing or colluding or having secret meetings etc, but acting in an out in the open official capacity when he spoke to the Russian ambassador - so it wasn't a lie.

Because what Al Frankin was saying/asking wasn't in context with acting in a prearranged out in the open official capacity. One thing had nothing to do with the other.

Quote:
On Thursday, Sessions said he met Kislyak in his Senate office two months before the election as well as at an event with other ambassadors at the Republican National Convention.

During the Senate confirmation process to become attorney general, Sessions denied having any contact with Russian officials during the campaign.
...
While there is nothing legally wrong with such meetings, the reported contacts raise questions about the White House’s statements that it knew of no further communications with Russian officials beyond those by ex-national security adviser Michael Flynn, who was fired last month.

Globe & Mail: Sessions to reply in writing to questions about Russia contacts

So Sessions admits that:
Quote:
On Thursday, Sessions said he met Kislyak in his Senate office two months before the election

He lied initially and now he has to correct the record. Plain and simple, and one more strike against the Trump administration.

You'd rather have him tirelessly implementing his agenda?

So where are those conservatives that complained about Obama spending to much on vacation with Michelle taking a separate plane that time etc.?

You would think they'd be up in arms with Trump's constant weekend trips to Mar-a-Lago and Melania's entirely separate residence. Considering that Trump spent almost as much traveling as Obama did in a year it certainly makes their silence suspicious. It's almost as if they were trying to create a false scandal.

We shouldn't be paying him to go to his private club every weekend. Again he spent 12 times more money on travel than Obama did by this time in his Presidency. We also shouldn't have to pay for protection on two different permanent residences in two different states.

If he can bring back jobs, and provide 100% of America with healthcare, then I'll be more than happy to say that I was wrong about him. But none of that is ever going to happen if he spends almost every waking hour tweeting his paranoid fantasies, hitting private clubs, golfing, and just wandering the hallways of the White House in his bathrobe, that last reminiscent of the Byzantine Emperor, Justinian, who'd wander the hallways of his palace late at night, thinking of new ways to torment his subjects.

Remember this post?

viewtopic.php?f=21&t=326715&p=7250258&hilit=+vacation#p7250258

"Obama plays his 300th round of golf as president. http://tiny.iavian.net/bnqj

And another freaking vacation on the taxpayers dollars. Trump sure has a lot to live up to."

So it's ok for Trump to spend 12 times more than Obama does because "reasons"? :| I don't get it.
