At least we have some extra time to prepare for that war with Russia.

trump is despicable in every way. i can understand not voting for hils, but, in that case, vote for stein, who supports many of bernie's ideas, unlike trump.

A vote for Stein only helps Trump. She's never going to win, all she can do is pull votes away from democrats.

Actually that's debatable. If you're in say, California which will assuredly go Clinton, or Texas which will assuredly go Trump, a vote for Stein/Johnson/whomever isn't going to have an effect on Clinton or Trump, but it certainly will help get 3rd parties involved in "the game". I'm in Colorado, we're purple, so I don't have that luxury, but if I were in one of those aforementioned states I would not be voting for one of the two tools the major parties delivered this cycle.

Yeah I know what you mean. If you're in a solid state than a vote for a third party just becomes meaningless on the presidential election. But I wonder what effect a third party candidate at the top will have on the down ballot races. My guess is it will have a minor depressing effect on democratic numbers.

CNN trying to claim that looking the Wikileaks files is illegal and that you need to get your information about it from them, what a joke! These people are slimiest propagandists I've ever seen, they are straight up liars.

what's illegal is the way Hillary has waged her campaign

True, but I'm of the opinion we need to see more third party candidates down ballot as well. There will be no constitutional amendment to end the moneyed and foreign influence on our government-- the people with power to change it are the ones benefiting from it. Continually voting for the lesser of two evils hasn't worked for the last thirty years or so, either. The only way to break that GI Joe grip is to fight it through asymmetry, which in this case means outsiders-- not political debutantes that want control of a major party, but actual outsiders: those willing to build from the ground up with new parties and ideas.

The thread would be much shorter if you got disqualified from posting when you told a lie.

Alternatively, the user who posted the most lies could be elected President 8O

http://www.cnbc.com/2016/10/17/fbi-rele ... probe.html

Quote:
One revelation in the documents came from an interview with an unidentified person who suggested that Freedom of Information Act requests related to Clinton went through a group sometimes called "the Shadow Government."

"There was a powerful group of very high-ranking STATE officials that some referred to as 'The 7th Floor Group' or 'The Shadow Government.' This group met every Wednesday afternoon to discuss the FOIA process, Congressional records, and everything CLINTON-related to FOIA/Congressional inquiries," the FBI's interview summary said.

interesting tidbit in this article

someone else made the connection but they claim that this group in named after 7th Floor Tower Millbank which is the London address of George Soro's Open Society Foundation

Stop reading so many conspiracy websites and stop being paranoid- thats my message to all the people that support Trump and his "rigged" claims. If Clinton gets elected- go move to Canada and then maybe you can stop whining. Sorry if that sounds harsh but I'm honestly fed up with these ignorant Trump supporters that act like he can do anything based on what they think they know about Clinton. Trump is a racist sexist conman! He will mess up this country even more. This whole election is a big joke thanks to him and the republicans in my view. They are making people paranoid and upset over mostly nonsense! Its really bringing the nuts out (on both sides), which is horrible. USA should be united, period. "Us vs them" mentality is sick. But honestly.. politics has been corrupt in USA for a while, it likely wont change. People get elected and help out their buddies, while the homeless starve to death, the people with crappy jobs suffer, the crime continues, the police get away with murder, the roads are in crappy shape, etc.

Plus I doubt all the Wikileaks are even true, but people think "oh they were right before, so they must always be right", as well as "oh Clinton and democrats havent denied this stuff, so that must make them true!"- both of which are stupid logic.

Agree with most of what you say about the Republicans but the Democrates are also making people paranoid with the Russians are hacking the election meme.

It is a very well known in public relations when you do not deny the allegation or revelation about you is true.

Not necessarily. John Kerry didn't deny the swift boat accusations, figuring that if he ignored the rumor it would just die.

Please remember to attack arguments, and not groups of people. For example, say "the belief that the election is rigged is a ridiculous conspiracy with no credibility", not "Trump supporters are stupid paranoid liars".

The second paragraph was reported, but that one is absolutely fine - it's not a personal attack to say that an idea is stupid or illogical.

Look up the facts- Trump hasn't paid many workers. He hides his tax returns because he is a COWARD! (and stop with the excuse of "oh it wont show anything"). He jokes about sexual assault and passes it off as "locker room talk". Locker room talk does get dirty at times- but no decent person jokes about sexual assault... PERIOD! He blatantly admitted to going into a dressing room of women that were 18 and under. His reasoning was "I'm in charge of the pageant so I need to make sure everything is alright". He said he would date his daughter if they werent related (ALSO clearly on tape, not some doctored footage either).

How the hell is this behavior okay to anyone? Use actual reasoning, rather than the whiny "oh but Clintons did worse" excuse that is used almost always.
