Nowadays, "fascism" is just an insult directed towards any political idea. Calling oneself "fascist" is just provocative, just like those silly neo-Nazis.

Anyone agreeing truly with Mussolini or Hitler would find a new way to say the same things, because the memory of both dictators is so bitter and universally seen as a bad moment that it just isn't an effective way to do politics. It would be like advertising a computer as truly defective.
