Very few people think the bible is morally perfect in the UK. Even the established church ignores it they allow their gay priests to have boyfriends. Christianity has essentially been defeated in Britain.

Yet your head of state is also the head of the state church? Even the Americans wouldn't go that far.

Are there any JWs in the UK? Believe me those guys really the Bible is perfect.

A few of them but they don't really cause problems there is even a Mormon church in Liverpool too.

No. It was Germany that took in many refugees, I believe the UK didn't even take in the agreed minimum number.

and it absolutely was. There were a vast amount of reasons why people voted each way though. I feel part of the continued problem since the vote has been politicians announcing that the vote went the way it did because of X (Vince Cable being the latest to do that just this week) and therefore still not appreciating that people are complex, and different, and have many views on things and not just one.


I am not taking offence but I would like to mention I'm old enough to be your father and have done a very indepth study of human psychology...
I'm sure you didn't mean to be condescending when you were teaching your "grandfather" how to suck eggs...<chuckle>

If you were to read the Daily Mail you would think all Muslims are hardliners but reality is very different. We had a work event on Friday in London where we finished in a pub and had a free bar for a couple of hours. The 2 Muslims in the team were both drinking beer. The Mail would make you believe this simply does not exist.

You cannot follow Christianity or Islam fairly casually you either believe or you don't. Christians have a loophole in that they believe the Bible was inspired by God. Muslims do not Muslims believe the Quran is the perfect word of God if they do not believe this then they are not Muslim.

Yes I could say I was a Christian but I don't believe in God and Jesus was actually a magic donkey sent here by aliens to control us but that is not Christianity.
