This is the point of the voting system in the first place, is that the majority pick who is best, and just leave it at that. So why can't Americans just accept the majority vote and just let it go? Why impose the way they think it should be at all costs? Why choose to be sore losers?

I'm not just talking about this recent election but the 2016 one as well. A lot of sore losers, just couldn't accept a majority vote, and had to make things real dramatic for the next election. Why can't we all just fight fair and square without all this hitting below the belt when it comes to voting?

because there are tens of millions of people who not only don't want us to progress but actively do their best to take amuuurica backwards to a point in time where they thought their enemies [POC, uppity women and gays] were in their place in prison or the closet [either the '50s or the 1890s]. elections here are not just about our favorite man but about sticking it to people unlike us.

Picasso's "Guernica" painting told the tale of the francoids' brutality towards the rest of Spain. there were indeed the local version of concentration camps in spain after the francoids' victory.

That makes sense, but even after voting, people are still not satisfied, with sticking it. They feel they have to do all these other things, like violent rioting etc, instead of just accepting the vote to stick it.

That's true but it goes both ways. Liberals in costal cities tend to despise middle America and vote in order to stick it to white rural conservatives.

I don’t. If I like a conservative candidate, I would vote for him/her.

But Trump transcends party in his potential evil.

the right wing fascist bullyboys like the patriot boys et al are mad at the rest of us for basically not being just like them [hateful of POC] and getting in their way when they try to do dirt to POC. and the BLM folk are mad that the racists are still allowed to do them dirt and that not enough white folk give a damn about it. each side feels it is their first amendment right to protest these things. it is a train wreck between the BLM types and the right wing types who don't want them to exist.

this liberal votes to keep the right wingers off his back and out of his bedroom and to stop blocking his ability to get affordable health care.

the nazis didn't have any direct role in franco's takeover of spain. but franco undoubtedly took inspiration from his fellow fascists.

And that's precisely why some people are worried about the possibility of another civil war happening in the US with all this racial, political, and social class tension. A modern civil war would tear us apart like it did for Colombia or Syria.

I think 5 years ago nobody would have ever thought the idea if another American civil war would even be possible, nor did they think we might face an economic crisis rivaling the Great Depression.

But how does he transcend party though? Liberals still believe in their believes and democrats still believe in theirs, even though Trump is gone. Who the leader is, doesn't change anyones believes, so therefore, who cares who the leader, is, if everyone is just going to remain the same anyway?

strumpy does not transcend the GOP, he IS today's GOP, lock stock and barrel. so in effect strumpy is not only NOT gone but right here still.

I agree. The GOP has fully embraced Trump.

agreed , but inspite of general opinions about Trump , it was one of the things he was doing about China and the USA . For some reason, WP is more tolerant of diverse political views, just recently.

Yeah, not everything/k Trump did was bad.
Encouraging manufacturing to come back to America was a positive.
Hasn't the Biden administration recinded the tax incentives, however?
