It merely boils down to the fact that you have it embedded in your mind that "these bad things only happen to other people". I'll bet your one of those idiots who sits in front of the TV and watches trauma center and tells yourself "that could never happen to me".

And for the accusation Redhanran made that I am a loose cannon with a gun, that was uncalled for. I am defending using firearms for self defense against bad guys with firearms, sometimes lying down and getting trampled isn't the best alternative.
Were you one of those kids who thought "fighting bullies back is wrong, I should run away"?

Lets list the things Bush has done that suggests trying to take over America:

1. Stealing the election (dictators usually gain power illegally)
2. Blocking many investigations into 9/11 (probably because Bush was involved, remember, 9/11 was much like Hitler's reichstag incident, it did several things for a police state agenda, it restored blind faith in the system through nationalism, it provided a scapegoat in arabs, it gave us an excuse to highten security which leads to number 3).
3. Patriot Act.
4. Integration of Church in state, which is used to systematically deny the rights of gays and people of other faiths.
5. Launching an illegal war.

Also consider:
1. Both republicans and democrats support big business, Bush gave businesses the rights of people, and now individuals are loosing their rights to corporations.
2. NAFTA made legal immigration very tough for Mexicans, which lead to them migrating here illegally. This is of coarse, hurting our economy, the right thing to do WOULD be to try and help Mexico become more prosperous of a nation, but seeing as the Mexican government encourages their citizens to jump our border so they can send more money back to Mexico, we're not likely to reach that sort of agreement with them. So this only leaves one other option to secure our financial stability as a nation, war.... But, we don't have the economic means to go to war because we're already involved in an illegal one in Iraq. If we pull our troops, there is likely to be a civil war in Iraq and WE would be hit with the bill. If we don't pull our troops, we'll continue funneling more money into this war that we already can't afford. Meanwhile, millions more illegal aliens are jumping our border, further destroying our economy (not because theyr brown but because theyr illegal, for the libs out there)..... So seeing as Mexico likely won't agree to a plan that would benefit both the US and Mexico, we'd likely have to go to war with them, but we don't have the economic means to do so. They are turning America into a 3rd world nation. Remember, Bush is already a millionaire in the oil industry, most of the higher ranking politicians are already filthy rich, they have no concern for our prosperity.

And libs are just as bad as conservatives for denying any points or facts that don't fall inside their little box. Ignorance is ignorance, period. Following society blindly is stupid as well (I don't give a f**k if your a red label or blue label ret*d, your a ret*d).

No, I beat the bejesus out of them behind the shelter sheds, because I didn't stand for their s**t. Nor did I need a gun like most of the loser schoolkids in your country seem to, just cos they can't handle being picked on. Where did you come up with 157? That's even more f*****g hilarious given that half your arguments are complete rubbish and baseless BS. I know you wouldn't be able to back up your arguments like AG (and those polls are crap as well), but the incredible bombastic tone of your drivel would be a f*****g scream if it wasn't meant to be so serious. Using a gun in modern day society by a civilian for whatever reason just proves how immature and brainless that person is. If some lunatic comes into the local bank with an Uzi and says' this is a hold up' i immediately drop to the floor, because I know I'll live. I bet you would pull your weapon and try to be a hero... Bzzzzzz. Wrong answer, because you would get your f*****g head splattered all over the bank. So much for self-defence. Not to mention that the cops would bust you for pulling your piece out in public anyway. What's that offence called? Reckless endangerment of others, as well as carrying an offensive weapon in public. I don't care that it may have been legal to have this weapon, the use of it in public is considered illegal by the police even in your f****d up society. If you prefer to be a Rambo and try to be a hero, then don't expect the city to pay for your funeral.

The bank situation is a bit different than fighting not to be oppressed. You still haven't even tried to counter any of my points.

I did counter your arguments, it's just that you are too ignorant to understand them. Guns KILL, and lunatic civilians use them to KILL. PERIOD. Self defence is irrelevant. Survival is relevant, and not carrying a weapon is the best form of survival.

Now go take this message to General Custer...... Oh s**t, he's dead.

No f**ktard, self defense isn't irrelevant, and YOU never countered MY point. Just because you don't value having basic human rights doesn't mean others feel the same way. We need guns to defend ourselves from bad people with guns, including our own government.
Survival doesn't mean s**t if I am being horrently oppressed.

Maybe you were one of the kids that normally would have been failed, but because of the bell curve they passed you through to get rid of you.

I've got you hook, line and sinker, and I'm gonna keep playing you for what you are worth; I'll either reel you in, or decide I've had enough and cut you loose. Either way, I'll be playing you for a long time yet it seems. Sooo get used to it.

Oh, and BTW, speak English when you talk on these forums, not everyone understands this nerdy newspeak crap that you are using. Emo, what the f**k is that s**t? Only an unintelligent git would use language like that. What are you, 10?

True anarchy (without leaders, as opposed to without order) is impossible as long as there is differences between man.

And besides, you do not respect the opinions of others, ergo, we should not respect yours.

Personally, I think some people campaign for gun rights because of inadequacy elsewhere. It's a power and control issue. People who bleat for their rights and yet ignore the rights of others should forfeit their right to life. You ignore the right of others to be safe. You ignore the rights of others to their opinion.

In other words, you'd make a great dictator, snake321. Pray that someone recognises that and takes appropriate action, preferably a rethink of your holding values of guns and your personal freedom over that of the freedom of others and others' lives.

Those polls? Well, many of the crime stats are from the UN, and most of the lifestyle statistics/polls are from the world values survey, both of which are credible sources.

I do not ignore the rights of others to be safe, safety includes protection from our own governments. This has been happening throughout history, and has not stopped.
I disrespect their views because they are ignorant, because I make points and conclude facts, and they don't even try to argue them, all they do is throw insults. Their points of view are debunked, I've won, plain and simple. Just because theyr not willing to accept points that prove them wrong and I call them on it, does not mean I am being igorant, it means they are being ignorant, and so are you.

And according to your judgement, who is a bad guy? One who is attacking you with a gun, right? Probably that would be your case, I hope. But somebody else wouldn't think so, a very good number of people who are not criminals, apparently, would not hesitate to use a gun when they get enraged with anger with someone, even if that person wouldn't intent to harm them. You are just seeing this in just one way, for yourself, that could work for you, but it doesn't work for the entire society.

Obviously in case of kids being bullied they need protection and help from school systems as well as bullies need help to stop acting like that, and prevent them to not grow to be criminals as adults, same with bullied kids. Or what were you thinking, giving your kid a gun so he will shoot the bully and the problem is solved?

It's ironic I am being called a dictator when I'm speaking for gun rights. Dictators don't allow their people to have guns, because if their people had guns they could defend themselves and revolt, and fight back, rather than being a door mat.

Dude, it's as simple as this, rather we like it or not some people are going to have guns (even if it is our government, authority has a long history of abusing it's power). We need guns to defend ourselves from bad guys with guns.
