Our New President - President Donald Trump
24 million people will lose their insurance and premiums will rise under the Republican replacement according to the Congressional Budget Office. If this bill goes through a lot of people will needlessly die as a result. So much for being "pro-life."
Is this ignoring the fact that Obamacare is going down in flames? That with or without Trumpcare, it never would have survived beyond 2018?
And look on the bright side. If Trump lied about Trumpcare the way Obama lied about Obamacare, there's a good chance that will cost him the next election.

I believe I posted about Marco Rubio getting rid if the risk corridors in the ACA so I addressed that already. Besides I have always been for single payer. Medicare for all. We need to stop letting insurance companies make money from denying people care. They serve no purpose other than to suck money out of the system. They are the very definition of a parasite.
Besides Trumpcare is in no WA sustainable. With so many people losing insurance due to expense premiums will explode. Then you'll have that death spiral conservatives were screaming about. There is no incentive to stay covered built into this law. It was a hastily scrapped together mess. If the Republicans are insisting on pushing this then it leads me to believe they are totally indifferent to the real fact that this law will lead to thousands of needless deaths.
This is just phase I.
Phase II would use administrative actions (including executive orders) to reform healthcare.
Phase III focuses on insurance reforms (when Republicans have 60 votes in the Senate).
So, if you hate Phase I, then vote Republican so they can fix it with phase II, and III.

No. They only called it phase one when people learned about it and decided they hated it. I'm not so naive to believe the most dishonest politicians in my lifetime.
How can you be sure I didn't mean it?
After all I'm a conservative and look how terrible we are.
- We love to deny people a decent living. Just ask any liberal.
- We love seeing people die from lack of affordable healthcare. Just ask any liberal.
- We are misogynists. Just ask any liberal.
- We are racists. Just ask any liberal.
- We hate imigrants and all foreigners. Just ask any liberal.
- We contribute to and belong to the works larges terrorist organization (the NRA) who puts dangerous assault rifles into the hands of children. Just ask any liberal.
- We hate the environment and work tenaciously to destroy it. Just ask any liberal.
- We blindly support the US military, the worlds leading bullying force. Just ask any liberal.
- Am I forgetting anything? Just ask any liberal.
Yes, you're forgetting the following:
- Popping a little kid's balloon with the end of your burning cigarette (which is causing global warming and destroying the planet).
- Kicking dogs.
- Stealing candy from a baby.
- Laughing a villainous laugh ... muahahahahahaha!
Just sayin' ...
...
Love the villainous laugh...

Now this could be really big: Trump issues order to plan a reorganization of the entire Executive Branch.
https://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-of ... -executive
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FOR REORGANIZING THE EXECUTIVE BRANCH
Section 1. Purpose. This order is intended to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and accountability of the executive branch by directing the Director of the Office of Management and Budget (Director) to propose a plan to reorganize governmental functions and eliminate unnecessary agencies (as defined in section 551(1) of title 5, United States Code), components of agencies, and agency programs.
Including especially:
(d) In developing the proposed plan described in subsection (c) of this section, the Director shall consider, in addition to any other relevant factors:
(i) whether some or all of the functions of an agency, a component, or a program are appropriate for the Federal Government or would be better left to State or local governments or to the private sector through free enterprise....

"Skin in the game" is an expression that means that you're exposed too .
The Obamacare subsidy protects poor people from exposure to rising medical costs.
That's going away.
The new plan is expose these people to rising costs by giving them less subsidies.
That way they will think twice before getting unnecessary treatment, which should lead to lower costs.
What the hell are unnecessary treatments supposed to be? If someone is sick or hurt, then they should see a doctor, no matter how much money they have. Sounds to me more like prejudice against poor people on your part.

Well everyone knows the poor have it so easy when it comes to healthcare.
^ "Unnecessary treatment" probably means running to the doctor or emergency room for trivial sh!t. Cowboy up to those petty ailments and injuries.

Privatizing things has worked sooo well for our justice system and criminal rehabilitation, health care, and banks.
I'm sure that an organization whose end goal is profit will take great care of those veterans the GOP claim to care so much about.

Pony up and take the pain, instead of going to the ER, huh? That's easy to say if you're not sick or hurt, or if you don't have to worry about paying hospital and doctor bills. And that certainly isn't an option if it's your significant other in need of care, and especially not if it's your child.

So, Raptor, if you had to go to the ER for a legitimate treatment, how high of a pile of dead bodies of people denied treatment would you step over? Or do taxpayers cover the ER costs to keep hospitals solvent? Or, do taxpayers pay less to get everyone basic medical exams and coverage?
I don't see another choice, really. The hospitals aren't exactly at the mercy of the insurance companies, but they have a far weaker hand to play, as long as enough people wouldn't put up with a society which required them to step over any dead bodies to get to the ER.
So, you're really left with only the last two choices. I think. I hope I'm not wrong.

Aren't you the one that just yesterday said I was an "extremist"?
What do you think you can expect from an "extremist"?
Sweet dreams,

Pony up means to pay up or put up money. Cowboy up means man up, soldier up, toughen up, etc...
Not very good at this boycotting, are you?
