That is good of you, I like how I am not geting attacked for saying things like I have but I just think some things need to be said and we should be careful of some of the hidden things. To me it just makes sense that the devil would not want to just stay clear cut, it would want to use other methods as darkness is not the only downside people can have that he can prey on. But that may also mean that god might use a simular method, who knows, the are probably infinitly smarter to us we could not comprehend a lot of things.

Constantine's church was not Roman - it was in Byzantium, and was Byzantine (Greek). The basic form of that church survives and is seen in today's Orthodox Christian churches, especially the Greek Orthodox Church.

The Roman empire covered most of Europe and Asia Minor. They forced Constantine's version of "church" on the whole empire. Later, the Roman Empire split in two. The Asia Minor part was ruled from Constantinople. Later still, the Muslims conquered Asia Minor up to the Dardanelles and renamed "Constantinople", "Istanbul."
I doubt it, but I would have to see some reasoning for it. I know the Europeans have a large holding in the U.S. through the Federal Reserve Bank. The Internationalists are working toward unifying the North American continent under a central government. Perhaps Ottawa would be a good choice for their continental capitol...

Exorcism and evangelism IS a war on Satanism.

After following the above link I found its information to have been drawn from a British tabloid much like the US Enquirer. So, I did my own research. According to an actual news service:

The Vatican is denying reports it plans to increase the number of exorcists around the world so possessed people can get help quickly.

“Pope Benedict XVI has no intention of ordering local bishops to bring in garrisons of exorcists to fight demonic possession,” Vatican spokesman Federico Lombardi told reporters in Rome just hours after the news report was published.

Roman Catholic news agency Petrus said the pope planned to install more exorcists in every diocese next year and reintroduce a prayer during mass to Mark the Archangel, believed to be the prime protector against evil, The Telegraph reported.

The satanic cleansing initiative was revealed by 82-year-old Father Gabriele Amorth, the Vatican “exorcist-in-chief,” to Petrus news agency.

“Thanks be to God, we have a Pope who has decided to fight the Devil head-on,” he said.

“Too many bishops are not taking this seriously and are not delegating their priests in the fight against the Devil. You have to hunt high and low for a properly trained exorcist.

“Thankfully, Benedict XVI believes in the existence and danger of evil - going back to the time he was in charge of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith.” The CDF is the oldest Vatican department and was headed by Benedict from 1982, when he was Cardinal Ratzinger, until he became Pope in 2005.
Paolo Scarafoni, a priest at Vatican University who teaches how to recognize and expel Satan, said exorcists increasingly are in demand because devil worship has become so common, reported ANSA. “Priests are being bombarded,” Scarafoni told the Italian news agency.

The topic of exorcism commands considerable public interest in Italy, and Father Amorth has frequently generated attention with his warnings about the unchecked spread of diabolical influence.

In a new course on the topic, being offered by the pontifical university Regina Apostolorum in Rome, Father Paolo Scarafoni has warned that Satanic cults are making inroads in Italian society, and cautioned that the influence of the devil is real, although he has also reported that most suspected cases of demonic possession can be explained by other factors.

Having followed the second link, it shouldn't be any surprise that I checked out the first one, too. Of course, it might be more of a surprise that, instead of just reading that page on the website, I looked through the whole thing. Never assume a reference is "good" just because it says what you want it to. TimT, why are you referencing your own writing and sending us to your own web page? Really, if you wanted us to see it, why didn't you just tell us, "Hey, I've written this really cool article, and I'd love for you to read it and give me your opinion."? I'd have given it a lot more credibility that way. After all, a few of those pages were intriguing. I don't see the need to rewrite the Nicene Creed, though. If it's been good enough for 1683 years, why change it now?

You could say that, although probably not exactly, in one of those sites they used the term 'War on Satanism' as a joke, as this is fake, probably was taken from the term 'War on Terrorism'.

Now, hold on just a chicken-plucking minute. Judith posted the entire article from the Malta Star. Having read the entire article myself, my resulting opinion is that the Malta Star was reporting a statement from the Vatican refuting unwise statements, not cleared through official channels, that someone in the Vatican's ranks made to the Petrus. After denying what you claimed, it gave a synopsis of how what they were denying was made public, without official Vatican sanction. In a word, the Vatican's official news agency is doing some badly needed rumor control.

All you're quoting here is the headline, which really goes against what you claimed about what the Vatican is doing in the way of exorcisms, and the article's last paragraph. The latter, taken out of context, supports your claim and twists what Judith contributed, from a reputable, objective news source, into a misreading that makes your opposing position sound reasonable. Read and acknowledge the entire article, fella. Doing anything less is tantamount to sowing the same kind of disinformation that I think the official Vatican news agency was trying to head off, in a move of damage control. What you're doing with it here will do nothing but hurt your credibility.

Im sure you're going to believe whatever makes you the happiest since you've made it clear to us that you choose Happiness over TRUTH(BTW, FYI, Truth is NOT blind faith!! !!). Demonic Possession is a medieval superstition that was invented to explain mental illness(INCLUDING autistic disorders)and it makes me sick that people in the Industrialized world still belive in that kind of Stupid Bullsh1t. A 5 year old boy with Autism recently DIED from asphyxiation during an exorcism performed by his father and 2 other ministers.

Maybe, but that's not to discount demonic possession as a phenomenon. Sometimes it must actually be mental illness. But the clergy nowadays, they know what to look for in any potential case of demonic possession. Nowadays, there's rarely that kind of confusion anymore.

There is no evidence to support the existance of angels, demons, or other non-corporeal beings. To believe otherwise is to maintain a delusional state of mind.

Some people can't help it, though. Pity them.
