I don't think the real problem lies within gun control or lack thereof.
The problem is that American culture is sickeningly violent.
The even bigger problem is that we don't know why.
you just made a really bad generalization and you should know better than to do such a thing.
american culture isn't violent. the number of murders is more due to the substantial difference in the classes and in education between a high income area and a low income area and the opportunities offered to people and that only a violent life is afforded available to some people sometimes.
i'm sure you'll bring up war too but most people aren't for the war in iraq and when people did support war, it was in the name of defending ourselves....not simply just a jingoistic culture. the jingoistic culture within the media and in the federal government is mostly due to israel's zionist influence on our government and media and their pushing for us to help colonize the middle east. unfortunately the media does sway people towards jingoistic tendencies...but only until a slap in the face like the utter failure that is iraq comes along and brings them to their senses.
so your statement that american culture is sickeningly violent is just insulting and shows a kind of lazy self-loathing for your own country.
typical liberal. heart is in the right place but too lazy to go for the right answer and just go for the easy one instead.
Ok in case you didn't know, class difference is part of culture. The more violent lower class
is a part of American culture. Even so, the higher classes have some bad violence (especially school shootings with middle/upper middle class). Americans like to use violence to solve their problems (ex: "Yo! Stop hitting on my girl! *punches face*). Even the American government uses violence to solve its problems.
P.S- I'm not a liberal, dumbass.
