It's just an attempt at making it look like there really are two completely opposing sides that wouldn't result in pretty much exactly the same outcome regardless of who gets "voted" in.

well they passed their gun law, no public opinion matters, no option to put it to a population vote and let the people decide. nope labeled it a state of emergency and put extra stamp at bottom say no allow people to vote on it. because they tried others and the people voted them down. so now its rule by dictate not what the people want.
democrats here are so out of touch and gone rogue. we didn't even elect our governor because they set it up to make sure a dem any dem is in that position. now they going ram gun law after gun law down our throats, no public vote, nope the population has no say in what happens in our state, all hail the might dictators, they know whats best even if the majority disagrees with them. while at same time they increasing taxes, making new taxes, new fines, they need more money.
quickly becoming a hell hold.

Left or Right or Liberal or Conservative or Democrat or Republican is IRRELEVANT. The fact is that ALL "Statists" have elevated a man-made entity called The State or Government into a False-Idol God-Ship.

Being an individual liberty, I don't think it should even be put to a vote by lawmakers or voters. It should simply be left totally alone.

Sure... becoming well-informed has its benefits.

All perpetual-voting systems are actually originations of pagan-rituals. I will explain why it's flawed...

Generation 1: Population of Reds & Blues. Some Law gets passed by a margin of 51% for (Reds). Only the Reds wanted such a Law to be in existence.
Generation 2: Greens & Yellows are now part of Population. Red Law still enforced. Only Reds want said Law. Phrase of Voter-Generations: "If you didn't like having Bully C & his minions beat you up every day then you should have voted for Bully D to beat you up every day instead !"
Generation 3: Population is now 20% Reds, 20% Blues, 30% Greens, 30% Yellows. Red Law still enforced.
Generation 4: All Reds have died off. Now it's every other colour in the population. Red Law still enforced.

Society continues to enforce laws passed down & voted into existence by DEAD PEOPLE when NONE of the people in the population actually wanted nor agreed to such a law to be in existence (this is the "spiritual-blindness" of humanity who have eyes to see yet cannot see, ears to hear but cannot hear, etc). The system itself is autocratic and is something like a modern-day Corporate HAL 9000... ONLY existing due to humanity's "belief" in "text" that have been written onto "parchments" and called "law" or "legislation" (law-makers being the modern-day version of what was known in the past as Scribes, legalese & legisation being the modern-day version of what was known in the past as Scripture, the Law-Book being equivalent to past-day Bibles/Qu'rans/etc).

The ONLY "government" that works is simply for everybody to live under a kind of Golden-Rule:
Feel free to do as you please so long as you do not force your beliefs or ideologies down others' throats & as long as you do not inflict harm upon others; everything that you or your servants experience, you will also eventually experience, too. Most importantly... always question everything !

Stop voting otherwise you have already given up your right to complain by having voted for some mere mortal to rule over & be the leader of your life in the first place when I KNOW that none of them even qualify to be MY leader.

When you are a political ideologue, you wear blinders. It's always the other side that is guilty of all the bad stuff.

nope, both sides do bad stuff, but pointing out the other does bad doesn't make the first sides bad stuff right or go away.

or example if a guy murders your wife, its not right ot go murder his wife. . you couldn't tell the cops well he did it first.

the left hates gun owners and are attacking us.

right hates poor people and attack us.

currently the left is in power and have free reign to attack and attack and attack. so thats more in my mind right now. the right is my only chance to save me and stop this attack, at least in oregon. its unlikely that the right will ever be in such a position to go on the attack so I don't worry about them except for federally where they have the majority but still they don't have enough to get past the veto from the president who's' left. so they can't do s**t. which honestly is how I prefer it I like a gov that's gridlocked means they can't attack anyone.
unfortunately the dems in my state got the majority so they no free to take the kid gloves off and do all the things they said they wouldn't do. the'll lose seats and hopefully the grid lock will come back but the laws they pass will still be here

this happens federally alot, one party gets control and they get power crazy and then they lose the control so the control flops back and forth. the thing they all have in common is the lust for complete power to destroy their enemies, and its this that undos them every time.

we need a 3rd party that can actually stand up to both them, perhaps split each house in 3. which would mean they would have to find balance on things and work together , which would hopefully mean better more balanced fair laws.

but neither side would let that happen.
