Preparing for election, post election riots
Yep for sure, as long as you those are your thoughts, because it just seems that when you have so many people following two sides only that it feels like sheep. But as long as those are your thoughts and beliefs
.
In Canada, we have a health care system which is run on insurance more so, but you have to wait so long for operations and things are backed up.
I kind of wish we had both systems where you can choose to pay taxes and wait, or you can choose to pay extra to be rushed if you want to be, like the American system, unless the American system is backed up as well. But both systems would be nice.

if you're rich enough you can have the other non-system, just takes a plane ticket and passport. but i'd take ANY DAY OF THE WEEK your system, delays and all, to mine. at least your system won't bankrupt me for a lifetime. our system routinely does that to untold millions before breakfast.
Oh okay. I see that point as well, it's just hear in Canada, there are Canadians wanting to go to the US for medical procedures they cannot get here, so when you I hear that, I wonder is the American system so bad, if really ill Canadians want it?
But also, I feel that there is some angle to these riots that is not being spelled out to us. What are these protesters and rioters angle really? I mean people never care this much about elections, so all of a sudden they care a lot more now? Or is there some hidden angle or catch they have?
I mean people don't even go out and vote when they should and now all of a sudden everyone cares so much more? What happened?

Am thinking all the rioting was about the civil rights abuses repeated ending up in black people being killed.
If your white and you are murdered it doesn’t even make the news , The media needed to hype something , so it looked like society was outta control , and put the pressure on the right wing people and trump , but then they used this to further hype results of the election . Civil rights are one thing , and will get attention if you know the right people . But I do not think the election is enough to get people up to rioting , if they haven’t been already.rioting.
Unless the MEDIA can see a profit in it . But it is only my opinion .

Not many Canadians would prefer to have the American system, even if some of us don't mind going there and paying for something to avoid waiting a year.

Just a reminder: under international law, an occupying power has no right of self-defense, and those who are occupied have the right and duty to liberate themselves by any means possible.

Oh okay, but what I don't get is why people were rioting about the George Floyd incident, but then switched to the election when they are too separate issues. Why would people change their own narratives like the wind, just because the media told them to, or at least that is what it is coming off as?

Yep, he allowed it to happen in China, Italy, India, Brazil, Iran and around the rest of the world. It's all his fault.
Yeah, basically, that's what we get for letting him de-fund pandemic task forces in other countries, starting with China.

He can try to pass the blame to anyone else all he wants; but when you get right down to the core of the matter, Mr. Trump is responsible for withholding any effective action that could have, would have, and should have been taken in this country against the coronavirus.
That's another reason why I voted against him.

And why is the coronavirus still around -- and even becoming a bigger threat -- when Mr. Trump swore it would magically "Go Away" or "Disappear", not just once, but at least 40 times?
