All religions appear 'nice' at the start. The more converts the better, so people are always friendly and loving every time someone new steps into their church or mosque or temple etc. And no one is going to tell you the bad things about their faith... it's like a salesman... their product is always the best

As far as I'm aware, NO religion is pro-aspie. The whole point is not to nurture individuality and difference but to promote a sort of "hive" mentality and unquestioning obedience. Group loyalty is important... you have to dress like them, talk like them, pray together etc. Religion arose from the human need for social cohesion, so the more you tow the party line, the better.

I would NOT ever be a Muslim even if if I did NOT have Asperger's Syndrome! Islam is a really bad religion and it only leads to death.

I am non religious. Wake up! no matter what religion you are or what country do you live in people will always be an ass to the guy with AS. No religion is pro AS, the muslims you met happened to be nicer than the christiants in your area, as already pointed out here. And yeah, I don't go to a praying place regulary at all, it's just a waste of time. I have better things to do. This is my opinion tho.

ok, i only read the title and a few comments, so here's what i think:
the "islam unlike christianity is pro-aspie" title is kinda stupid, sorry. it implies that (i haven't read the first post in detail) christianity is intolerant against people with different wiring and that's kinda...well, stupid.
and to whoever thinks prophet muhammed was a pedophile, check these two links to have the proof once and for all

oh, around 19, that's right.
and btw, islam does tolerate other minorities- including homosexuality, and never once is it stated that they should lose their rights or be killed or whatever else that was said before in this topic. in fact, muslims are ordered to protect the rights of minorities living amongst them, or else...

what else?... oh, that whole "stone adulterers" thing? here's what you have to do to prove adultery:
1- not less than four witnesses who saw it taking place, and i'm not talking about romantic gestures or talk here, i'm talking about the sexxorrs itself
2- if those witnesses made an extra effort to see the deed, like peered through a window or something similar, they're the ones who'll end up being punished by getting their asses thrown in jail
3- the adulterers have to be muslim, of coarse, otherwise muslim sharia (law) cannot be applied to them
so, four muslim people had to have been forced to witness two (or more ) muslim people having sex on the street or something equally public in order to report on the adulterers. easiest thing in the world to come across AND prove, right?
