The Philippines seems to be promoting interracial marriage, through its entertainment industry.
For example, here is a Filipina actress, whose screen name is Anne Curtis, with her father, James Curtis-Smith, an Australian:
Another Filipina actress, whose screen name is Angelica Panganiban, with her American father, Mark Charlson
And, for the ladies: Gerald Anderson, whose father is American
Mixed-race folks pretty much dominate the Filipino entertainment industry.

I think *promoting* interracial marriage is another of those social engineering type wheezes that never ends well. It tends to happen anyway wherever there is migration - a proportion of folk will always be attracted to those who are different. I suspect that's a trait hardwired into us, the 'hybrid vigour' thing. And where there are no insurmountable cultural issues I see no downside. I'm better described as 'passing complexion' (i.e. second from the left on ArrantPariah's pic) myself than white, as a result of my happily married great grandparents - an Irishman and a West Indian woman - and their kids were certainly none the worse for their mixed genetics. I like pale 'English roses' myself, so there's no accounting for taste - luckily for me my wife doesn't.

I guess I just assumed that a red stater like you would be an advocate of "family values".
But you actually MEANT that it promotes 'bondage' ( and the real kind- not the bedroom pretend kind).
