A new Warren Court?
Again your putting words in people's mouths. Yeah, I really want you to get hurt - just what kind of person do you think I am? I'm tired of you people painting the Right like we're a bunch of ogres. Screw you.
On the other hand, I can be just like how you want me to be. The good part about Obamacare is now the hospitals won't have to write off all that bad debt. That will keep my job. But there are still some who have an "out" by paying the fee, so something will have to be done with that.
Like these ogres?
Fugu turned someone in for posting pictures. Just like you Lefties to turn someone in for something and then turn around and do the same damn thing. Figures.

catastrophic or medical savings account plans require substantial amounts deposited into the account to work. that requires major income IOW they are marketed to people that make more than I do, who can afford the $10k-20K bottom line amount one has to pay in the end for major med expenses. I did the math and I ended up in the same financial situation MSA or no MSA, either would have left me in the same boat [after paying not much less in premiums from the privilege] depending on help from others. I am not middle-class.
As you say that you support Obama care because it helps you while hurting others who aren't you so it's ok.
Quite hypocritical.
Obama care has made Medicaid crappier then it once was. I still haven't received my Medicare card. Medicaid pays for my doctor but Medicare pays for the drugs. Doctor won't see me unless I have both even though I'm not getting drugs.
It used to pay for eyes, dental and medical now it's. Ostia just medical I haven't been to dentis because they'll likely just pull all my teeth because with Obama care they won't pay to fix them anymore like they use to. So I eat on one side and wait the day the open tooth gets infected and spreads to my brain and kills me :'( the alternative is to be s 28 year old with no teeth which I'm sure will ruin any chances of a life for me.
I brush my teeth twice a day or more.
Ying and yang. What benefits you hurts others and vice versa.
Insurance company meanwhile makes tons of money off me as they get paid by government and I never use any services.

I'm sorry your experience was not good. but it is up to you to be the squeaky wheel with the inevitable gov't bureaucrazy [misspelling intentional] to get the sticky gov't wheels to let go of your card. you have to nag them. I am pretty sure Medicaid was crappy well before PPACA was enacted, but crappy is still better than no health care at all IMHO. I hope your experience improves.

That may have more to do with the state you live in. I pay a buck fifty for my medication. No way could I pay out of pocket for my Lexapro.Medicaid covered a deep cleaning for my teeth, fixed one that had a filling bust(watch out for the old maids in popcorn),colonoscopy, mammogram,ER visit when I cut my foot bad enough for stitches, other emergency office visits, yearly physical with blood work, ear, nose and throat specialist visit, various X-rays,monthly visit to my therapist, pyschatrist every three months for med refills.Im already preapproved to have two wisdom teeth removed at an oral surgeon.Just hadn't done that yet, they don't hurt.
If you check at some of the food banks they sometimes have info on dentists that do free clinics.I think the just do cleanings and extractions, maybe some fillings.Ive seen on the news where some free clinics do more, worth checking into.

It goes back to what your favorite person said - medical costs are insane.
I'm not understanding the out-of-pocket limit being more that the annual deductible. Can you explain that?
And, yes, Mr. R. is my favorite. I think he's a real sweetie.
Awww, you can be his Puss in Jack Boots.

So, Blabby is supposed to rid himself of Obamacare just because you haven't had the same good experience as he has? And by the way, my question is rhetorical.
Sure, Obamacare isn't perfect (it had in fact started it's life as a Republican plan back in the Clinton years), but it's just a first step. Ultimately, what we all should be hoping for is the eventual implementation of universal healthcare with the expansion of Medicare and social security.

That isn't what Sly said, he said that Obamacare specifically has made his healthcare worse off. There are many people like this, there are many that have been helped to some degree, it's still a terrible law and MASSIVE payoff to the insurance industry that the Democrats so disingenuously acted like they were fighting against,

acknowledged it is a kludge but according to Bismarck, politics is the art of the possible and not the optimal, so PPACA was the most possible thing our dysfunctional system could arrange to expand affordable health care to the working class and curb some insurance company abuses [in the face of solid GOP opposition to anything like that], and it was a republican red herring plan to begin with, but unexpectedly taken seriously and implemented as such in Mass. by Willard Romney [aka mitt the plastic Mormon]. none of the other BS the GOP put forward purporting to "fix" healthcare here was actually intended to do anything like that, the GOP's real goal being just to further insulate bad players [bad docs and hospitals] from liability while further enriching them, and to hell with enabling the working class to actually get affordable health care.
That problem with this obstructionist narrative is that Obama had supermajorities in both the House and Senate, if he wanted something more it was his own party that stopped him since they passed the bill with zero Republican support. Now maybe this was a fight Obama didn't think he could win politically but I can't say he fared any better with what turned out to be Obamacare. Look at who the healthcare industry gave money to leading up to 2008, always follow the money.

it was the Calvinist side of the GOP losing out to the greed side.
