I seem to recall the Koch brothers and Adelson using their billions to usurp democracy from the right.

I guess it's just a matter of "whose ox is gored?" again, it is those who worship wealth versus everybody else.

Jacoby - I find it weird you can't believe that some people just really really sincerely hate Donald Trump. You constantly rant that all the protests are being driven by marionette wielding super-villains tucked away in high places. I'd love to poll these protesters to find out if they even know who George Soros is. Seriously, people don't need to have some billionaire's hand up their ass to be pissed off. Bernie supporters and "leftists" are pissed off for a lot of the same reasons Trump supporters are pissed off. The two sides just have different theories about what's causing the problems. Neither side is being controlled by some far-off puppet master. People like Trump (and Sanders as well - to a degree) are just taking advantage of grievances people already have.

On a separate note, I don't think shutting down Trump rallies is the right course of action. However, I'm hardly surprised it's happening given Trump's "tough guy" rhetoric. You keep calling the opposition "weaklings" and goading them on with ultra-nationalist chest-thumping, what can you expect? They are going to come out and show you that they are not "weaklings" and are willing to fight with the same kind of rhetoric and actions.

Indirectly. And so what, there is nothing sinister about her activity. I applaud Soros for funding activist young people doing non-violent and good work.
