Yeah, you esteem God above man, believing you are doing right, when obviously and logically you are wrong.

Then why do hundreds of millions of people agree with me, if it's so "obvious" and "logical" that I'm wrong about God?

It's obvious and logical that you are wrong about gay people and their sexuality and that God condemns them. It's absolutly logical to think the Bible says that because of the period of time it was written.

Everybody here knows that you condemn homosexuality because the Bible says so, if the Bible didn't say that you wouldn't have a problem with that, would you?

And you use parts of the Bible to support your arguments when is very obvious that no one will be convinced by citing a book who is supposed to be dictated by God.

The problem I see here is that you believe that the Bible was dictated by God, I believe that can be dangerous as I am noticing now. Pure logic tells us that the Bible was written by men with views according to their time, it is very obvious that the book shows how people though about sexuality and about gender roles on certain periods of time in history.

Actually, you're wrong. I follow God's logic semi-blindly because I know it's superior to mine and to yours. You think you're top dog logic-wise, the brilliant Sopho, etc., but that doesn't make you correct.

not any moreson than you.....

how do you know she doesnt have a source she consorts with that's higher and more wise than your god? (aside from her previous statments)

hint: it's illogical to believe god is supreme knwoing... when he's the one telling you that... you cant know there arent other plausible sources of infinite wisdom... that's why it's faith... but you have to concede that there could be others

What you're all trying to do, with all these questions upon recalibrated questions upon still more recalibrated questions, is find out where I end and my religion begins.

The problem with the assumptions behind that approach is that any true Christian will be joined to his religion seemlessly. That's what's so frustrating for you all. I'm being as civil as I can be while refusing to change my religion. And it drives you bonkers.

why deny who you are even if you "dont" sin?

cause god says so... it's an illogical impass...

Come off it. That's your hormones talking.
You can't really tell me that you find human
females more appealing - artistically, than
cats. Humans, of all types, are funny-looking
apes.

No, I find art in cats, birds, trees, flowers, even insects. Just proves my point even more.

these points are irrelivant unless you find animals sexually attractive

as an artist myself, i am familiar with critiquing art.... plz use some sort of actual critique on the form of men/women/animals...... and relate it to why any of them is sexier/more beautiful

You know what? Terrorists in the 911 attack could use that same argument.

tangent: my beliefs support that those terrorists went to heaven IF they truly did believe they were doing the work of their god....

Now, try and imagine a world where such
'rightness' didn't exist. It wouldn't even work.

The very existence requires that things be in
harmony.

Ya, but not THIS much!

there are discontinuities. Plus, remember
the subjective nature of your own view.
When you go someplace where things are
different, they seem oddly WRONG. Thinking
of other possible existences, would seem just
so wrong, but not to the inhabitants.

I wouldn't say wrong, I'd saying strange-at-first. But still beautiful. Like if I went to Japan, certain trees, flowers, animals, and people would look different, and there wouldn't be any squirrels, but it'd still be beautiful to me even though it's all new.

What raggy says is that you can live your
life in whatever despicable matter you like,
as long as you subjugate yourself to his cruel
and vindictive God.

Otherwise, you'd have to hang out with those
of us who are honorable.

wow-I'll hang with you :P

only in platonic friendship... mind you
