From what I heard, she spoke to him first by asking the man if he was there to protest the inauguration.
When the man replied that he was there to "celebrate America", she went on a tirade.

Worth noting that arrests and convictions are not one and the same.

Also, it is possible for a narrative to break.

different event. i'm talking about the saturday march.

That's is correct, there were NO arrests at the woman's DC protest.Thats speaks volumes, all those people and no conflicts with police. The police were hugging people at the protest in Austin. They also did not have on riot gear, just there to keep the peace like the participants.

Now if future protesters can refrain from violence, vandalism and arson and also refrain from calling themselves a silly name and wearing silly hats and costumes and leaving massive rubbish everywhere, they might finally get it right and not look nutty.

According to reports from the horse's mouth, and other passengers, his response was "I'm here to celebrate American democracy".

Most outlets are also reporting that support for the woman's removal was bipartisan and transcended racial barriers. At least she can be said to have contributed to racial and cross-faction political harmony.

Sounds like victim blaming to me. Aren't we supposed to listen and believe when someone claims harassment? Or is that only snowflakes on twitter?

I posted a news link on another thread where the NPS stated the trash was where it should be.My daughter said that people were picking up afterwards where she was at.Also showing trash next to an overflowing trash can and is ridiculous, that's where people would place it.Ever been to a big event? I did when I was younger and there was always trash by a receptacle. And what time were these massive piles of trash photographed, right after the protest or early in the morning before people had a chance to get up and remove it??
As for silly names and hats, that's up to the individual's choice as to what looks silly. Not what anyone else thinks is silly.Ever been judged for what you had on?Ive seen people with ugly ass outfits on but I'm not going to judge them on their choice of clothing.Dont hold your breath waited for people to act or dress like you want.
How many times do people not understand the difference between an anarchist and a leftist?
No vandalism, arson or violence at any of the women's marches that I've heard of,and yet you all just keep bitching."They left a sign on the ground and wore a funny hat."Can't you don't better than that?

what we are discussing in this thread is small potatoes. the new administration just barred the research divisions of the USDA (food safety) and EPA (drinking water safety and air quality) from releasing new science findings to the public.

We have just received this message from the Michigan front: The Flint water system has been rectified. Doubleplusgood.

He seems to think guidelines prevent jobs. No,they prevent cancer and other illness. The people in Louisiana's cancer alley had jobs, and the jobs killed them.

Doesn't that rather suggest they have?

It seems curious and interesting that when a person on this board criticizes "conservatives" or "the right" for anything, there is a howl of outrage that this is an intolerable calumny, not to be borne, but the same people are perfectly OK with criticism of "the left" and "liberals" and portrayal of the actions of a tiny number of people on the fringes of the left as somehow representative of everyone on "the left."

In certain corners, justice and fairness are really only concerns when they align with team goals, it seems.

Since turnabout is fair play...

I wish the Right would make up it's mind.

Dissent is...

2001-2009: TREASON!
2009-2017: The only defense against Tyranny and the anti-Christ. The duty of every patriot.
2017 -: TREASON!

...I.m sure they,ll be glad t be recipients of your instructions as to how they can mmeet with your approval , which , no doubt , should be their greatest concern . Then they will get what they want , if their olohing and conduct passes your test  .

Yours was the third post in a row to point the finger right back at the "right", though it was arguably the least subtle :P

I think there are more than adequate checks and balances on PPR at the moment, though there have definitely been times that was not the case.

What would be some fun questions to ask Trump:

Do you treat your enemies fairly?

I'm sure you can see the problem here. He wants to destroy his enemies; they are his enemies, after all. At the same time, people respect it when you treat your enemies fairly, and he is totally respectable, the most respectable ever.

Edit: It took me a minute to figure out. Redefine fairness. Not a difficult question, after all.

The narratives are breaking too fast for the internet to keep up. That is a weird new development.
