So if I die and confront all those things I believed unbelievable when I meet God or his minions at the time of judgement and I had not commited any recognized nastinesses will I be forgiven? What I am curious about is whether my doubts during my life make me unforgivable in your understanding.

You can believe whatever you want, 1st Corinthians 15:45 says what it does though.

So no

There was atheism well before Satanism

Well, actually True Satanism is just a form of Atheism..

AFAIK, you have to believe, at least in Satan as a powerful being to worship him, to be a "True" Satanism, that seems to conflict with the definition of Atheism.

but thats what im saying is at least one church of Satan that i knew about wasn a worship of Satan.. it was a worship of PEOPLE, with Satan as nothing more than a symbol.. I tried looking for the video but i lost it.. but a satanist priest was the one saying this, so the main Satanist Church is a form of atheism.. just a more organised and well.. evil one.

Evil? Why do people always seem to form an idea of what's good and what's bad? If you are referring to Laveyan Satanism which is what the Church of Satan practices there's not much evil about at all, I think it's stupid and immature to perform rituals in a church, especially if you're deep down an Atheist but I don't see them killing people or forcing their beliefs down people's throats. Do you? When was the last time you saw a Satanist knock on your door and handing you a pamphlet?

I think having Satan as a symbol says it all for me.. and i know the religion fairly well, and while they do not believe in the devil, they believe in knowledge and obtaining power.. Slowmutant said something intelligent about being neutral, or picking a side.. Satanism although atheism is not a neutral choice of way of living.. it is a specific side of the coin for everything it stands for.

It's ironic how much you know versus how little you believe. :(

What do you claim I don't believe?

I'm a Christian and a young earth Creationist.

Why is it that these dinosaur fossils I found lack very much of the material these mammoth fossils have? Hm.. Well if the earth is 10,000 years old I guess it's to test our faith right?

I don't pretend to know how old the earth is, so that's why both OEC and YEC dogmas can jive with my personal set of beliefs. If there were dinosaurs before man, I'm cool with it. Seems very unlikely that dinosaurs are just a hoax. To me it seems more likely that Earth is more than 10, 000 years old.

I think he means that you, in your religious beliefs, put too much emphasis on "knowing" (i.e. "I am right, and you are wrong, and I know this from the Bible") over "believing" (using religion to appreciate the enduring mysteries of the universe).

Even when I was a christian I didn't quite understand that very well, speaking against the Holy Spirit, how that works exactly and why, according to the belief?

In the context, it was part of Jesus' reply to:

Mat 12:24 But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.

What carnal behaviours would "uber athiests" engage in, hm?
How do you define spirituality? Crusades? Slaughter?
I'm of Irish and Spanish descent; well aware of both sides of those.
How do you compare athiesm and satanism - two wildly opposing views?

Basically, what in hell are you on about, buckwheat?

I wasn't trying to put down atheism or satanism. As I believe in SOME theories Lavey put forward. I was simply trying to say that atheists don't believe in a higher power. Satanists believe themselves to be their own god. And thus, believe greed, lust, gluttony, and other "sins" (so-called of course) are necessarily bad. The only reason I myself am not a satanist (anymore) is because I don't believe spirituality is an invention of man's carnal mind. Christians have caused MUCH more violence in their history than satanists have. The "satanic panic" of the 80's and 90's was debunked by the FBI and CIA. I'm not sure why you seemed to take such offense to what I said, but I certainly wasn't trying to put down satanists and atheists while building up practitioners of the judeo-christian-islamic faiths.
