I'm not so much scared of Trump as I am baffled by him. For 47 days (47 days!! !) he's been saying "we're rounding the turn" on covid...yet North Dakota (a very red state) just hit a positivity rate near 20%! That's one in five covid tests coming back positive. That doesn't sound like "rounding the turn" to me. Sounds like a serious outbreak...
Like me, he probably could care less about "COVID" (aka the "scamdemic"). Whatever happens happens. I seriously could care less anymore.
You are surely entitled to your opinion. In my opinion, 70-80% of humanity is worthless. Sorry about your wife though. But what would happen if she caught a cold? the flu? pneumonia? norovirus?(that is like stomach virus from hell. Had it three years ago. It sucks). Just saying, it seems like a lot more that "coronavirus" could kill her if she's that sick.

Is the 20% of the entire population, or only those tested?
If only those tested, has the number of people (or requirements to be elligible for) being tested changed?
Saying 20% positivity rate is not a meaningful statistic to report when there is no way of knowing about the details of those tested. After all, it is entirely possible to come out with a 100% positive testing rate if only those who are infected get tested.
Given most people are worried about dieing from it, a better statistc would be:
* Deaths of it as a % of population (not deaths with it, as someone who has it and dies in an accident would be included)
* Number of "excess" deaths, as a % of population, compared to similar timeframes each year for the past 10.
* Total deaths, as a % of population, compared to similar timeframes each year for the past 10.
Alternatively, % deaths of it from those diagnosed with it, although that would only give an idea of how much "risk" there is from it.
Similarly, the timeframe should be from the first case in the state, not over past x weeks\months, to account for different rules in each state, and not to advantage/disadvantage states that did well/poorly over a short-term timeframe. A state that does poorly, where the vulnerable die early, should not be treated as being "better" because there are fewer cases\deaths now, compared to a state that did well historically but is having a slightly worse result at present.
Measuring the % of population diagnosed with it is a meaningless number, too, as without the entire state being tested, you have a portion that may have it, but as they are not tested, it will bring the % of the population reported with it down.

But it didn't kill Trump, because actually, it's not that serious. So "what if" is irrelevant. If a car accident killed Trump, would I never ride in a car again? No. And your problems with the flu show that the flu IS as serious as this virus, just not hyped as much.
And I'm hoping for the opposite. I "say no to creepy Joe". That demented moron can't run his own life, let alone the country. At least Obama was mentally competent. And I'll be praying that Trump wins, and "makes the liberals cry again". I think he probably will

Show me a year where the flu killed over 220,000 people. Just one.Quote:
For comparison, they observe, the WHO estimates that 250,000 to 500,000 people (0.004% to 0.008% of the population) die of seasonal flu annually, and flu deaths in past pandemics ranged from 0.03% of the population in 1968 to 1% to 3% in 1918.
https://www.cidrap.umn.edu/news-perspec ... ths-284000In US alone? Second wave of the Spanish Flu. I can't find anything comparable in the last 100 years.

When Donald Trump was infected with COVID-19, he received state of the art tax-payer funded medical treatment - including exclusive access to experimental drugs not available to anyone else infected by COVID-19.
He was also monitored 24-7 during his hospitalization by an entire team of medical doctors at a 100 percent public medical facility specifically designed to cater to the medical needs of the US president.
So Donald Trump's treatment does in no way whatsoever represent the treatment and prognosis for anyone else in the US (or perhaps in the entire world) who gets infected with COVID-19.

That figure (220,000) is likely an exaggeration. Many of those people were likely already dying of other ailments, the virus was just "the straw that broke the camel's back". I have an acquaintance that is a nurse at a nursing home. She said that they were told, by their supervisors, to attribute as many patient deaths to coronavirus as possible, so the nursing home can get more government funding. It makes me wonder just how reliable a number like that is. And to think the government wouldn't lie about this is naïve in the extreme. The government lies about everything. I know almost no one who has had the virus. I think I had the same "flu" as you last year also. I almost never get the flu, so I wonder if it was really corona. It did take about 2 weeks for me to feel completely better. I will probably never know.

These are the kinds of privileges that help D.J.Trump feel "superior" to the rest of us -- privileges that he seems to not want anyone qualifying for Obamacare to have.

Of course not. It's a once in a hundred year event. But you wouldn't know it by listening to Trump._________________

But that doesn't mean that he would have died without it. Just that due to his status they went "above and beyond" to ensure his recovery.
I'd actually like to see some information on exactly how many people who have died of coronavirus were already terminally or critically ill with a low chance of survival. I include conditions like Alzheimer's and dementia as being considered terminally ill, because these conditions reduce you to a vegetative state that most people wouldn't want to live in.
I know that some deaths were people who are not critically ill, but that is the minority, not the majority.

Which it's why it's time to cut the head off the lying snake. The real liars are Fauci, the CDC, the CIA, the NSA, the FBI, and the rest of the government bureaucracy whose power Trump actually is trying to limit, to protect our freedom. They spy on us, rescind our constitutional rights, and conceal god knows what from the American people.

Any US President would receive the highest standard of care for any medical issue due to the importance of their position.
