That's what everybody in PPR does. Rarely is the discussion about the issues, it always degrades to personal grudges and trying to show who is more "intelligent."
I've seen footage of plenty of peaceful people marching, maybe you should stop googling violent protests.
Nothing wrong with protesting at airports,I beleive that was done before when the air traffic controllers went on strike.Nothing wrong with peaceful marches at the Super Bowl, not like it's sacred ground.
None of these actions are actually new, people have done this before.Yet you act like its the first time you have ever seen civil unrest.Oh yeah,it probably is.
Oh yeah sure, I'm the only person in the world commenting on it
I didn't say or imply that.
Oh I must have misunderstood, so sorry. I guess it must be the first time all the dozens of journalists covering it have seen civil unrest as well

The type of sites you browse explains a lot.
That would be true of everyone, even you.
Ever see a Rabbi riding shotgun with a Skinhead?See their families picnicking together?

For some time of the younger journalists it very well maybe the first time they have seen a large protest. For the older more experienced ones,I've sure they have seen much, much worse.
I've seen SOME incidents of violent protests on news, but I've seem more incidents of peaceful ones. You must have went to the bathroom,or was outside playing when that was on tv.
No rampage at the Super Bowl despite predictions there would be.
I'm not one for glossing anything over, total free press.

It seems to me the difference is there are those who show intellect and those who try to act intellectual.
Also it seems to me that discussions do stay on topic, up to a point. However, by page 15 or wherever this one's at, it kinda tends to digress.

I've seen SWJ's setting things on fire with anarchists.

The thing is, rampages are what people have come to expect because of all the past rampages and overall crazy behavior.
Ezra/\How do you know they are SJW's and not just plain old a**holes?Large cities have plenty of street kids that like to break things becuse they are angry, not because of politics.
I'll agree that the extreme SJW can be annoying, especially on "cultural appropriation."
I could care less if a white male has dreadlocks and is wearing a kimono.
People shouldn't judge the whole movement becuse some jerks got out of hand. There was a majority of peaceful protestors, you don't see all that becuse it's more exciting to film and watch a blazing limo.

They come to sites like WP to vent instead.
Most people don't care for the hassle of it all.
Either that or they stay home and send out death threats and Tweet stuff that gets them arrested. Or make videos. I haven't seen much of those, but I hear they're a riot.

There are examples of that yes. There are, however, also examples of poorly handled disasters, historical and modern. Why risk hurting the people you are trying to help? Why risk the stability of your nation? Although we haven't yet tasted the true scale of the European refugee disaster-in-progress, but anyone even at this juncture who still thinks Merkel's invitation was smart or moral is irredeemably foolish. Given the risks involved it is always better to err on the side of caution and help refugees in situ and send them home when you can rather than potentially cause an ethnic conflict within your own borders.
I don't know of a case of refugees having it easy in a host country.

It's really not an easy thing to be displaced from your home.
I can't imagine what I would do if I, all of a sudden, didn't have a job, and had to flee my home because some a**hole doesn't like my ethnicity/sect.
This is pretty much what happened in places like Aleppo, which used to be a cosmopolitan city like, say, Istanbul.

I've worked with refugees. They tend to be above average, in my experience and based on what I've heard from others. It's easy to see why; they had the sense and skill to get out of a war zone before getting killed.

I think the answer is that we have to take care of our national security. We really do.
Yes, there could be "terrorists" among the refugees. And we have to keep track of those who seem to exhibit sympathies in that area. And I believe we've done a really good job at it as it is. We might need "extreme vetting"---but we don't need a ban on refugees.
We must remember that the vast majority of these people are FLEEING terroristic-types. They want a better life for themselves and their children. They are sick of living in crap conditions, with the risk of all sorts of diseases (and somebody ratting on them!) over their heads.

A symbiotic relationship occurs when two organisms, individuals or groups of people work together. That is all.
