Jesus would never have done it like that. Jesus would show prayer in his actions but he feed many non Christians and made friends with them. He would tell them the parables and about God but it was there decision alone if they wanted to follow him.

I think abortions should be banned if foetus is healthy.

If it is defect, it should be mandatory.

I think you are probably right, Shadowgirl ... in contradistinction to many Christians I have met. My former neighbors used to give heavily to a 'charity' that required people to participate in religious activities before they were eligible for food or medical assistance, and they thought that all Christians should think that way. Even Mother Teresa, portrayed as a saint, had very ulterior motives in her charity.

Why not? I mean I don't agree with the mandatory thing as that implies eugenics, but if a disability can be detected and the parents decide to prevent him from being born, then I don't really see the problem with that as with any reason why people would want to abort.
