So their perception might be a little tainted, but creating a database listing 30,573 false or misleading claims seems a little bit like an obsessive compulsive disorder.

So let us drill down a little deeper.

Their first claim is that President Trump said “We also built the greatest economy in the history of the world…Powered by these policies, we built the greatest economy in the history of the world.”
Normally the vitality of an economy is measured in Gross Domestic Product (GDP). According to the latest available data on the Real Gross Domestic Product
The GDP of the U.S.

The U.S. had the highest GDP in 2019 than any year from 1929 to present [and most likely from the beginning of our nation].
This reference did not list the GDP for 2020 but I expect that it dropped due to the coronavirus pandemic and the shutting down of the American economy.

The third item they listed as a falsehood was “We just got seventy five million votes. And that's a record in the history of sitting presidents.” Well the president received 74,223,744. Not quite 75 million votes. But according to Newsweek that is over 7 million more votes than any sitting President in U.S. History. The fourth item they listed as a falsehood was “One of the things we're very, very proud of is the selection of almost three hundred federal judges and three great Supreme Court justices. That's a very big number. That's a record-setting number.”
Trump appointed 54 federal appellate judges and 174 district court judges and 3 Supreme Court justices during his single four year term. He didn't appoint 300 federal judges but he said "almost three hundred federal judges". Other presidents appointed more judges but this was stretched out over two terms. So the number he appointed was a very large number. It was a record setting number but not the top of the list. According to the PEW Research Center:

Trump also had a major influence on the nation’s highest court. Why did this even make the list. This is not a political statement. Generally there is a unwritten rule that the kids and spouses of presidents are off-limits. But almost from the beginning the press launched attack on Trump's family. They even went so far as to attack ten year old Barron Trump, the youngest son of President Trump shortly after the election. It was seen as a cheap sucker punch. What did he do? He can't even vote. Why pick on him?
Now does Melania Trump have grace, beauty and dignity. IMHO yes. She was even a former model. Is she popular with the people? Her popularity is intrinsically tied to her husband the President. Even if the American economy was at its highest gdp numbers, that doesn’t make it the greatest economy in the history of the world. History is a long time and the world is a much bigger place than just the USA.

He didn’t appoint the 300 federal judges he claimed. Another false statement.

Melania isn’t, and never was, “popular with the people.” She hid away doing nothing and hiding her face hoping to be irrelevant and forgotten - probably so she wouldn’t be so strongly associated with her husbands cartoonishly evil actions. When she did show up it was to wear a jacket that says she doesn’t care (about kids in cages) or was recorded saying “F Christmas, who cares about Christmas?” She wasn’t a likeable first lady and not only was she unpopular - she was the least popular first lady ever:

America has the greatest economy in the world as measured by GDP.


Generally material wealth increases for nations over time. If you reach back in time and compare GDP, I suspect you will not find a nation with higher GDP. For example the GDP of the British Empire:

The metric of gdp is very recent in terms of the history of the world. trump claiming the USA has the best economy in the history of the world is entirely unprovable. Who knows how the economy of Ancient Rome or Mesopotamia or Atlantis or any other number of economies operated?
