A former colleague of the US Vice-President, Dick Cheney, has pleaded guilty to funnelling millions of dollars in bribes to win lucrative contracts in Nigeria for Halliburton, during the period in the Nineties when Mr Cheney ran the giant oil and gas services company.

I think it is relavent to the body of information accumulated as it pertains to U.S. foreign policy and the catalysts for 9/11.

Let's look at the big picture. If 911 was a real terrorist act, why is that there hasn't been another one. Do you know how easy it is to put a bomb on a plane? Where there is a will there is a way. They can send it through the mail, or get a job as a ramp agent for the airlines and then just throw one in the cargo. The shoe bomber was a joke. If he was a real terrorist, why didn't he just go in the lav?

Or, they could go lock all the doors in a building and keep them hostage, get some air time and make demands. I could go on and on and I don't even have any desire to commit such a heinous act. However, if you read history and what the government has done to people and animals you will see that they are not so trustworthy and peaceful.

I think I better stop talking about this now. I'm getting a little paranoid with all these conspiracy theories.

Oh, btw 9/11 is a major day in my life ....before 9/11 I was a shiite muslim (since I was raised like that) practicing some of the shallow basics of islam such as praying and fasting but I wasn't very aware of the contexts in the Qur'aan very deeply ,after 9/11 I stared questioning the message behind my ex-religion and I gradually started to become skeptical about Islam and Quran , the more digging in its very context the more skeptical I became till I became totally non-muslim. Only after digging in the other religions , I became then total atheist.

After that happened I was wondering if religion would finally come to an end after this, like demonstrating how harmful it can be (biased) ;)

religion has always been dangerous because they have strived to be objective.. it doesn't end up well that way.

That much I can agree with. It is better to try to understand the motivations of the people who attacked us and figure out how to deal with the problems that cause so much animosity, rather than trying to fight an endless war against anyone who gets pissed off enough at us to do something about it.
