Yeah and then a middle class, social welfare and humanistic attitudes towards law emerge (which are arguably necessary for long-term stability)

Plato was a psychopathic aristocrat, early generation bloodline. Plato is ancient Illuminati Magnus..... That entire book described how they set up "the republic", the NWO is Plato's "Great Work" he envisioned. That's why all the freemasons and business leaders and bankers and what not quote Plato... Well, Plato or Francis Bacon.

Don't you see how those elitists reached their conclusions now after this long debate?

It sounded good in theory, but now it's not working. Plato wasn't a psychopath but some of his followers were.
I believe Socrates was a great man and not driven with a hunger for power. He just liked to drink and have fun with debates.

Ok, that's why he kept flipping his definition of "justice", and why he kept on detailing such emaculate knowledge of human behavior in conditioning everyone for their role in the state.... Plato wasn't a hero, he was a psychopath.... A psychopath can hold 2 opposing opinions on the same matter, they can say one thing one minute and the total opposite the next minute. That double-mindedness is symptom of psychopathy.

I'll admit, I started off in the book thinking Socrates might have had a good streak to him until I read further through it. Theyr all psychopaths.

A wise person is able to change his mind when he gains more insight. Voltaire changed his mind like his underwear.
No one is perfect and no system is perfect. When we try to lock things in a box it implodes. Nothing can be controlled here.

Besides, can you really blame Plato for trying to create a system that would prohibit the injustice that was served to his friend and mentor, Socrates? I would have been upset by that too.

There are lot of people here who specialize in a particular field, who use big words and try to up-show you by debating, and drawing you on to their side by using their charisma and ego and charm.. but, in fact, they are stuck in the dark and will talk in circles forever unless they decide to wake up.

I use a bare minimum of 'big words' and the like, something I have actually come under fire for. There is a reason these $5 words and turns of phrases exist, though: they explain concepts that would take much longer to describe in vernacular. Sometimes we have to do that. Using them judiciously is best.

Whatever Chever.. trying to make me look stupid is easy, because you use words to unravel me.. But I'm not stupid. I dont think the same as you do, you think with an extremely narrow conscience, in a box, and your ways are much more popular then mine.. but I highly doubt that my way of thinking is the result of being stupid. In any case, I'll let you be as you are. .
