What is funnier than the individual stupidities is the memes. Apparently USSR had Czars. I think they must have read an alternative version of Russian history.

Czar Nicholas....but that's just a Russian monarch and is nothing like our czars who are more like administrators/executives over various special areas of the government and our "czars" are merely informal titles for heads of different groups. Like the drug "czar" is actually the Director of the Office of National Drug Control Policy.

But, hey, what's it matter...they used the same word!

Back to the programme at hand, after a brief, if laughable, interlude in Photoshopland. If affordable healthcare is so important as a driver of "healthcare reform" then why isn't "tort reform" even on the Congress' or the Admisnistration's agenda? Limits on idiotic lawsuit payouts and the huge amount of liability insurance thus needed to defend against such vexatious litigators are surely not a bad thing?. It's been done in Texas with spectacular results. Why can't it be done at a Federal level as a first step towards true reform?

Well, except that Czar Nicholas II was deposed long before the USSR came into existence - he was succeeded by Premier Kerensky after the February Revolution, Kerensky himself then being deposed by Lenin and his boys in the Bolshevik Revolution. (Kerensky gets short shrift in history, but for a very short time Russia actually was a republic of sorts...)

Yeah...the Russian Monarchs BEFORE the USSR and communism and the whole anti-monarch stance of the USSR (and therefore, anti-czar).
