that about sums up my impression. I think the 'invasion of your body space', peripheral vision, sounds (or lack of them) are hard-wired into most of us.

If I could project telepathically, the road would be littered with flaming dump trucks, Olsmobiles, and anyone else too slow to be in front of me... ....kidding...

Now if you're able to get people to turn around who are in other cars by starring at them then that would be harder to explain.[/quote]

how about folk answering questions you had in your mind without asking them? that has happened repeatedly to me when i was younger, but now that i am a hermit it hasn't happened in quite a while. or people suddenly whistling or humming a song you had been thinking about on for the past day.
i asked a counselor long ago, about why women avoided me, and was told that "women know what you are thinking about them, they have intuition, you know." but i am sure the jocks also were "thinking" about particular women who threw themselves at the jocks. i just don't get the world.

anyways, this brings to mind another question- what proportion of aspies are speed demons/road warriors, versus the stereotypical slowpoking clods?
