Why would I need to figure out what it's like to be a human? I already am a human, so I already know what it's like. Can't I be curious as to what it's like to be something else, be it some other species or mythological deity?

Every species, not to speak of every individual, has gone through millions of years of adaptation to perceive their environment in a special way to survive and reproduce. You don't either perceive the world as a bumblebee nor do you coordinate the perceptions in the same way. In effect each separate species lives in a different perceptual universe. If there was a god it would also be so different from you as to be beyond your comprehensive capabilities.

Needless to say, all Theocratic Civs i run into that even THINKS about spreading their influence are nuked into the Earths core. I am sick and tired of religious fanaticism.
