Would you have found Christianity acceptable if it had remained simply a reform movement for Pharasaic Judaism? The words of Jesus are that His followers must preach the gospel to the world, specifically referring to us mere lowly Gentiles. Would it be something you could accept without proselytizing? Bear in mind that relatively few Christians actually actively proselytize beyond their own children. Should Christianity have remained exclusively for the Jews? If it had, would you have found it more appealing?

There is a small number, though not insignificant, of Jews who keep the Law (insofar as they CAN) and customs of what was YHWH observances, such as the sabbaths, kosher food, and so on but also believe in Y'shua as the fulfillment of prophecy. The Passover bread that is broken, for them, represents the beating (stripes) and death (breaking) of Y'shua. So there is no reason to believe that Christianity is incompatible with Judaism.

The idea of a flesh/blood bleeding man as God is blasphemy by Jewish standards. Also the Trinity is completely at odds with a unitary God. Christianity and Judaism are incompatible. Once the Gentles injected their bogus theology into the religion it become not only blasphemy, but absurdity.

Don't take this wrong, but supposed Jewish intellectual superiority is exaggerated at best, and in most cases, Jews are no more brighter than me. And at a hefty 290, and just about six feet, I aint gonna take a back seat to people who are in general physically smaller and weaker than me.

Jews are in the business of keeping the 613 commandments. That is their job. They have nothing to offer the gentiles other than, perhaps, a good example to follow. The gentiles are obliged for a different covenant; to wit: the seven Noah laws. Gentiles are not required to keep the Sabbath nor are they even required to pray. For Gentiles it is sufficient if they don't steal, don't shed blood, don't commit cruelty to animals, don't steal, don't commit acts of sexual immorality, don't sacrifice people to idols and don't blaspheme. In addition all peoples: Jews and Gentiles alike, have to have social mechanisms for keeping the peace and seeing to it that the laws are not broken.

Judaism is for the Jews, not the Gentiles.

In any case, I think few of us human beings ever "read the entire paper" or hear as well as when we actually have questions. So while it certain can be beneficial to just put things out there at times, disappointment can at times follow.

i remember watching a show that said christianity stole alot of its symbols from pagans, such as the cross and purposfully made jesus birthday on december 25 to squash out the pagans winter festival. what a joke but so are all religions
