Mubarack looks like boy scout compared to this madman.

The fate for this kind of leader is to be hung. I just hope it is sooner than later.

Whoever said nobody would bombard his own people?

Worse, I get Chavez' international news channel (no kidding) and they are trying to pretend like Gaddafi did nothing wrong. They have 'images' of people in the square celebrating and supporting him. And asking why didn't the UN do nothing about Mubarak? Well, for starters Mubarak did not order massacres to protect his chair. For god's sake.

Agreed, and with refugees entering Egypt from Libya I think the Egyptians are aware of the situation in Libya.

Ummm... Can't you just be thankful you weren't born somewhere like Libya? I mean, sure, there's plenty of brainwashed religious nuts in the Arab/Muslim world, but there are also people just like you or me. Moderate and secular Muslims are the number one victims of the violent knuckle-draggers.

It's also a tightrope. The US position is that the international community must speak with one voice. If the US takes a high profile lone position, Khaddafi will point to it as evidence of a US plot. That nonsense works with some of the local dummies.

He just did. One of Gaddafi's loyal ministers has called for the rioters to hand over their weapons, and admit to who has been giving them hallucinogenic drugs. (Hint, they want the answer to be the Americans.)
And no, I didn't make that up.

He's now also accused Al Qaeda. Uh okay?

Too be sure, Gaddafi did try brown nosing Obama a awhile back, from what I had heard on CNN. I consider it to be irrelevant, since it came from this lunatic who thought his greatest threat came from America.

That explains why Obama's Pastor was buddy/buddy with the dictator...

Rev. Wright hasn't been Obama's pastor for sometime, so why should he care?

Yeah it was real idiotic of me to say especially when Saddam has been known to do it.

I hate the way dictators and other human rights abusers are being allowed to flee their own countries in all of this. Gaddafi should stand trial for any alleged crimes in Libya or if he is unable to get fair trial there, then it's a good opportunity to test the International Criminal Court that we've spent all this money on.

I wouldn't like Gaddafi hung regardless his gender. I still oppose death penalty and all that stuff.

I was just predicting what will happen to him. A dictator that wouldn't go and would instead massacre his own people.

I don't really get your question though, should being a man or a woman change the consequences of your actions?

One good thing about Gaddafi is that a few years he reinvited the Libyan Jews back to Libya whom Gaddafi expelled when he came to power. If i were a Libyan Jew, i would willingly accepted his re-invitation. I hope other Arab countries do this, so they can end Zionism.

I don't even think an NT is supposed to know if that's a joke. But anyways I still don't get how being hung like a horse has to do with anything :?. My serious answer is that I don't believe in the death penalty but I do believe in depussifying the prisons and making em have to do prison labour for 14 hours a day and not giving em ridiculous perks like television and s**t like that. The only thing they should really be granted as perks are books to read and visitation hours as well as phone use. This way they contribute to society and end up doing the very thing they avoid; Work.

As for war criminals, 14 hours of work and 10 hour lockdown in protective custody.

Just learning what the word meant.

Actually i'd be against prisoners working. Since there is now a market in imprisoning people you'd basically develop an underclass of cheap labour that grew larger and larger. Most people in prison shouldn't really be there. Legalize drugs and and end illiteracy and you could eliminate around 70% of crime. There are also a larger number of mentally ill in prisons.

I'm a right libertarian who happens to smoke weed and believes the Drug War is BS. Matter of fact I'm pretty stoned right now lol.

Well I'm unsure of whether the labour should benefit the public or the prison industrial complex but I'm thinking of a new idea pertaining to Government run prisons. Let's say some scumbag lets locked up for rape. The rape victim is gonna need a shedload of therapy, so the convict's labour should be used as proceeds to funding the victim's therapy. Another example is if someone does a B&E then that person has to pay for all the damages with prison labour. This could be good for Government run prisons.
