"And he said to me, 'Do not fear, Dani’el, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand and to humble yourself before your Elohim, your words were heard, and I have come because of your words. But the head of the rule of Persia withstood me (detained me for) twenty-one days. And see, Mik'a’el, one of the chief heads, came to help me, for I had been left alone there with the sovereigns of Persia.'"
(Daniel 10:12-13)

Those guys must be busy elsewhere tonight.

One of the passages where some pull out far more information than is folded into the data.

I Ching? Psychic channeling? Or just a wild guess?

I will keep an eye out tomorrow morning.

Psychic insight lol. honest I do personal angel card readings & some of them do come truth.
I just view the readings as signposts to guide us on the right path

No, but very popular with media and exegetes at the level of the National Enquirer.

That is the kind of place where the Enquirer builds in "COULD THIS MEAN?" lines by the dozens.

Hey, it is well into the morning here - some light outside but no sign of the sun.

Never mind, there is still time for it to show.

If I were going to predict the sun would rise, I would specify a place and a range of times. But Salmoxis has not vouchsafed a word about the sun.

Several years ago, I spent a lot of time in the studio audience while "The Prophecy Club" was making these kinds of videos ...

... and I definitely saw some of that there ...

... and it was interesting to note how "Stan" was constantly reminding people that "The Prophecy Club" was not an error intended to actually present/offer "The Prophesy Club"!

In any case, learning to discern was the order of the day for me back then.

As it must be on an ongoing basis for all of us.

Of course I do not doubt that in something called the Prophecy Club [I never heard of it, but there is lots I never heard of] there would be some good presentations for beginner discerners to work with.

Oh yes, some truly dynomatic stuff and much learning experience came out of that setting ... and I first got involved only because (as I then saw things) one of my "fellows" had begun repeating some things heard on the radio and I wanted to go see where she was getting that stuff.

The real tragedy is when you hear it from a young [not all that young, really] punk pastor who learned it spitback in seminary.

Yes. Many terrible things can take place within a Roman theatre.

I don't know anything about young punk pastors... but Father Carlos was an ex-pot smoking surfer... I thought that was pretty cool.

Only as one example here ...

I have a younger sibling who was seminary-schooled in Chattanooga many years ago, and I suspect he "did well" among his classmates there. All these years later, he is still completely incapable of dealing with anything outside that particular, as-trained "box of dogma" unless said box already contains a scripted response for his sharp tongue to employ.

Yes - sooner a surfer who has learned to flow with the wave.

Some never outgrow young punk.

I knew one - took over one layer of departures from a church we were killing. Big on theology. Some time after he took the church on somebody came to him with a problem. "Don't ask me," he moaned, "I am a teacher not a pastor!"
