Can anybody answer me that whether Muslim women are permitted to step out of her house without accompanied by her husband?
I have read that in A Thousand Splendid Suns...with numerous rules made by The Taliban...
Course they are except in strictly Islamic practicing regions like
Afghanistan.
Have you read it also???
I am so curious...
except in....Do you mean Iran? And Saudi Arabia? And ?????
Yes I read A Thousand Splendid suns. Saudi women are not allowed to go out without a male companion. I don't know if that is the case in Iran though. I think even Iranian women are not allowed to go out without a male companion given they already have very few rights there. If I remember right, there was an Iranian movie I watched in which the women were not allowed out on their own.
I mean Muslim women not in those Islamic predominant regions are allowed to go out on their own as they do in India and Africa.
I will use a flower petal for paper,
and write you the sweetest letter,
you are the Sultan of my heart,
The Sultan of my heart!! !!

Lol is that a quote from the book? I read it long ago like 2 years ago so I don't remember much.
Yes...
I stand beside a shelf in a bookshop, opened it, the first thing I read in the book is this. I was very curious...finished it in the bookshop and brought it to my house, and this little thing just stays in my mind all the time....although may not a good verse, in some sense...Or may not quite impressive, in some sense...But I don't know why I just remembered that....
O, Wait..wait...
I have got something to show you...
My favourite quotation from the book, although not the most beautiful or the best quotation...
