Probably because general censorship of the opinions of others is more preferable to some than merely making a personal version of the Index.

This is why I say that the threat to our freedom's comes from the left, not the right.

No, the reason you say that the threat to our freedom's comes from the left is because your lifestyle and values are radically conservative.

Censorship is no more a left wing concept than right wing.

Go too far left and everything goes to $hit, go too far right and everything goes to $hit. Balance and opposition is what preserves our freedom.
Yes sir, though I don't think balance is the way to go about everything since walking a tightrope demands too much balance. I usually either lean heavily left or heavily right depending on the issue but overall I lean towards the right.

I don't see the tea party running around and torching businesses. I don't see the tea party running around and throwing firebombs.

What does that have to do with anything?
Political radicalism also isn't any more a left wing concept than a right wing one.
For example didn't the Norway shooter identify as right wing?

The shooter in Norway seemed more like a plain and simple nut.

Also we've already seen the left try to engage in blood libel to blame the right for the Tuscon Shootings.

The point I'm trying to convey is things are not so black and white.

I'm aware of that, however you should be aware sometimes things are that black and white. If we give into moral relativism we're just going to end up saying anything goes. Also, the fact Liberals here hate Bill O'Reilly makes me respect O'Reilly even more.

But in their very heart of hearts, they know that they're right and that right is wrong and good is evil and evil is good. Isaiah 5:20-24 for the win.

Damn, they had to put up with liberals even back in biblical times???

Naturally- the main character of the New Testament is an anti-establishment radical.

No, he wasn't, Jesus was for religious and spiritual reform, he wasn't out there trying to bring down governments, and he did not condone the use of violence.

"Reform" = "anti-establishment"
"radical" =/= "condoning the use of violence"

Jesus answered to a higher authority though, God.

To reform is not necessarily to oppose, nor where it involves opposition is it necessarily opposing the establishment . Often they go together, but [I speak from experience] the leadership may reform what has become to a degree corrupted, as I may restructure my syllabus on the basis of last year's experience or tidy my office in the semester break.

He was just a plain and simple Conservative. Maybe overly plain and simple.

Yeah, right. The Tucson Shooter was just out for some Congresswoman's blood to make his Easter matzos.

Thanks for providing another example of why I have absolutely no respect for "Conservatives."

I don't thing he does, and quite frankly I could care less, cause I don't have any respect for him either at this point. Furthermore, his comment didn't exactly surprise me.

Really? I remember that thread and all he did there was flame baiting as usual.
Talking about smokers as if they are criminals.
