You Goyim are stone solid ignorant about how Judaism operates. You Goyim have been poisoned by that goniff Paul/Saul of Tarsus.

Darn tootin'.

Saul of Tarsus was a priest of Mithras who saw a fledgling cult with a power vacuum and moved himself right in, and started diluting their gospel with mithraism.

You have no idea what is in Torah (what you Goyim call "The Law"). Read the book of Vayikra (what you Goyim call Leviticus). Your ignorance is remarkable (which is why I am remarking on it).
Who said I did know what is in the Torah? All I did was ask a question about your statement trying to understand it and you insult me.

There are two major commandments in the "old covenant". 1. Love God and 2. Love your neighbor as you love yourself. in addition to which there is the commandment to pursue Justice (i.e. righteousness). Just 3 of the 613 commandments of the "old covenant".

R. Hillel pointed out that the essence of Torah is to learn not to do unto others what you would hate being done to you. It is all about self-control and being decent to one's neighbor.

So what does Christianity teach that is more important than this?

"Liberal", "Mainstream" Christianity may be similar in its emphasis.

"Conservative", "Evango-Fascist" Christianity is centered around hatred.

Sei so gut, motl - because I am thinking you got it a wrrong idea of what is "Evangelical" - since you are totally backward about what churches are conservative!.

To get things clear about your do dogmatic statement:

here is a list: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_A ... angelicals of just one set of Evangelical groups. Herre as well : http://www.creeds.net/ is a reference fotr what they bdelieve and preach, many will also have individual websites.

So, bitte, WHICH of these [or which unlisted groups] are hate driven? On what do you base the statement?

---------

There as I have said is near us a pretty heavy duty "Christian" - Holier than Thou - radio station. I listen from time to time to find out what the slightly nutso fringe is going on about. They have a pretty low opinion of, for example., Glenn Beck and see such things as contemplative prayer as dangerous innovations.

They are - from what I have heard - self righteous. Dumb. A tad paranoid. Activist [write your congressman]..

But I have not heard them say word one that sounds like hate. Nor racism. For all they feel other Christians are dangerous, they do not rant anywhere near as much as the PPR "Christians are all @%$! !#$%" contingent.

Exactly the 2 commandments that you identified as major were identified by Jesus as the most important in Matthew 22:37-40. Your original question, to a Christian, would imply exactly that passage.

Quote:
note: Goyim is Hebrew for Gentiles so don't get in a snit.

You did only use the word when paired with insults, which makes it seem like an insult itself. It would seem the same if you used Gentile for Goyim. If you really want to avoid snits, just avoid being insulting.
