Walter Monnegan quite frankly should have been fired for not firing that state trooper. It is a crime to threaten the lives of people, let alone the parents of a sitting Governor.

In President Obama's case, his Flesch-Kincaid grade level score was 8.8 for his first State of the Union Address

Got that? Palin's everyday emails are written at the same level as one of the most important Presidential speeches given by a President. You know the speech that has several professional speech writers working for months on? Yeah that speech. Palin's emails also score close to MLK Jr.'s "I have a Dream" speech (8.8) and the Gettysburg Address (9.1).

The Mainstream media went through 24,000 pages of emails, and couldn't find anything to use against her. Now you want to tell me she is somehow what they claimed she was, looks more like the Mainstream media was lieing about Palin to help Obama.


I never once said she had done anything illegal. I just think she's a self-absorbed fundie with little intellectual curiosity, and had gained little from her education. And in my humble opinion, she's just about the last person I'd want for president - or to occupy any political office, for that matter.

She has demonstrated time and time again that she has a disrespect for education and intellect, and has gotten historical and scientific facts wrong so many times that has only been rivaled by Michelle Bachmann. Palin just seems proud of not knowing anything - much like Perry recently was bragging about his bad scholastic record.
You, on the other hand, while I can sometimes (most times, in fact) find infuriatingly too conservative, still have my respect for your intelligence.
That's the difference.

Just because there were journalists who had tried to portray Palin as an idiot doesn't mean that she isn't. I think she pretty well demonstrated that fact herself.

CNN ruined its credibility during their last election coverage. I watched CNN on Sunday, :lol: Two Obama appointees, one with a CNN show, discussing the jobs plan. 8O No mention of any conflict of interest. Priceless.

maybe not, but they only constitute 18% of the electorate, so a small shift from them is all that would be needed since the 30-44 age group which brought obama to the white house constitute almost 30% and would likely have voted for McCain & Insano to avoid the leftist disaster that Obama has been. Also, the older demographics which were either split evenly between both parties or favored the republicans would also have voted for McCain in much larger numbers... large enough to give McCain a landslide victory.

So let's review that... young people(18% of the electorate) would most likely not have been motivated enough to care about the election(though electing the first women is enough of a motivation for most including myself), or more would have voted for McCain. A good lot have felt buyers remorse seeing the barren job market that they are in or are about to enter, and seeing their professors future career's bailed-out in the stimulus while getting no aide themselves for the cost of their education is annoying. They were sold a bill of goods and promised jobs and a paygrade higher then one who only had a high-school degree. This is the spirit of the times and enough to motivate a 5 to 10% shift towards McCain, which is not enough to give this demographic (the 66% who voted for Obama) to the GOP, but certainly enough to hand McCain a land-slide victory.

As a matter of fact, there would have been more of a chance of younger voters not voting at all than there was for them to vote for McCain and insano. Maybe McCain could have pulled off a victory, but not with a landslide.
I think most Obama voters are aware that the economy is doing badly today is because of two reasons:
1) Obama inherited a real b***h of Republican eight years of mismanagement; and...
2) Republican obstructionism - and admittedly due to Obama's own futile grasping at bipartisanism - had kept much of anything from being accomplished.
If Republicans win in the next election, it'll be because Obama's base would have given up on him and stayed home. But it's hardly possible they would vote for the current crop of nitwits, charlatans, and fanatics leading in the Republican primaries these days. But it's precisely because of who the Republicans will run against Obama that will very likely drive the base to the polls in order to give Obama four more years.

Immelt, The GE CEO who is on the Oabama Jobs economy team, you know the one that has moved more jobs overseas while paying no taxes. So, CNN has the "White House Special Correspondent of the Middle East", Fareed Zakaria, interviewing the CEO of GE, also, named as one of Obama's top economic and employment advisers.
