I think you have us confused with liberals......

So Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck, and the tea baggers must be ultra liberals!

Yeah, modern movement conservatives epitomize politeness.

What exactly is the meaning of "conservative", and what makes Gingrich a more "conservative" candidate? Does "conservative" just mean loud, obnoxious and hypocritical?

That appears to be the case.

On the first video:

“That’s what freedom is about; taking your own risks……” Ron Paul

Pretty much sums it up in reality.

On the second video:

“But in the state of Texas; if you come into our state and you kill one of our children, you kill a police officer, you’re involved in another crime and you kill one of our citizens, you will face the ultimate justice in the state of Texas. And that is you will be executed.” Rick Perry

A word of advice; don’t go to Texas and commit a murder. Kind of simple when you stop and think about it isn’t it?
Besides, it looks like we won’t be seeing Rick Perry in the oval office this time around so this little show was all for naught.

Go find a Youtube video of Newt or Mitt clubbing baby seals or whatever……….

Dr. Paul can talk about risk all he wants, but those of us with families and little else can tell him that we can't afford to risk losing everything with his definition of freedom. Security has to accompany freedom, or else freedom will lose it's luster.

Yes, but when you start surrendering personal responsibilities to and uncaring entity like the government (and they ARE uncaring) then some of that freedom goes with it and you can’t get it back.
I don’t think anyone is going to tell you that healthcare in the U.S. is without its faults. The primary fault is that it’s disproportionately expensive and it stands tor reason that the insurance for it is expensive as well.
That’s all driven by GREED which is everywhere. You can’t tell me that greed can be regulated when the regulators themselves are afflicted with it.

You can't force people to buy private health insurance.

Yes. It can be forced with government guns, courts and jails. Along with seizures of bank accounts and property. The government has the guns, the government owns us and we do not own it back.

The government is The Enemy.

In theory, no, but in practice, YES!
Might makes right simply by force.

How has universal healthcare deprived anyone in western Europe, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, etc. of any of their liberties? Arguably, the worst drawback is having a longer wait to see a doctor. But you still get to see the doctor, and it's free. Sure beats not being able to see a doctor at all here, because it's unaffordable.

Go to an Emergency Room. The law forbids hospital emergency units for turning anyone away because they can't pay.

There are states - sadly enough even my own home state of Washington - which want to limit ER visits on the state's dime.
And the simple fact is, an emergency room visit is no substitute for well rounded medical care, with regular doctor visits.
I've always wondered - how many conservatives had originally opposed the illegality of turning away patients from the ER for lack of payment? I would imagine many.

You can imagine anything you darn well please. This is still a semi-free country. But the fact is that the Emergency Rooms must treat.
