Just the US, creating more enemies.

It may seem painless, but drone war in Afghanistan is destroying the West's reputatione

Quote:
Even 10 years ago, drones – remotely operated killing machines – were unthinkable because they seemed to spring direct from the imagination of a deranged science-fiction movie director. But today they dominate. Already, more US armed forces personnel are being trained as drone operators (computer geeks who sit in front of a computer screen somewhere in the mid-west of America doling out real-life death and destruction) than air force pilots.

America, F-yeah!

I have no intellectual respect for people who people who tell me how to vote for fear that I might vote "unwisely"; I'm not brain dead and am entitled to my own opinion. Personally, I have never supported our leader, comrade Obama and will certainly not support him now.

Drones and Special Ops are going to be the future of warfare for the West.

Doesn't matter who you vote for. They're appealing as they're just as effective for far less of the cost [compared to boots on the ground], and you don't have many casualties on your side to bother with. Drones letting off Hellfires from the rails is a good war for the powers that be.

A lot of these drones probably won't be like that kind that bomb targets. There will probably a lot of small drones.

Considering Romney's callous disregard for the welfare of ordinary Americans when he headed up Bain, I'd say he fills the slot of greater evil.

I think he means the growing lower class of Americans that have seen 40% of their wealthy vanish, back to levels they made in the 90s.

I don't think it's a good reason to vote for either. They are both Goldman Sachs picks, they both don't have many striking differences. To say one is better than the other is as asinine as choosing s**t over vomit. No one has to vote for either and I won't.

And since that hasn't improved with Barack in office I doubt they'll be in the mood for four more years of him.
Even if it's not his fault people are still hurting and are likely to show their anger at the polls. We'll have to wait until November to see for sure, though...........

In fact, things had gotten worse for working class people under Bush. With a Romney presidency, there would be even less chance for them to recover what they had once had.

That's really surprising that the government would openly admit to having others assassinated. That's really scary. But then again, if the person they are assassinating is an international criminal then there could be a nice bounty involved. Mercenary could be the next big career choice among American youth.

I would also vote for anyone but Obama if I could, including Vladimir Putin and Hugo Chavez. But I also don't like Rommney, based on his track record as governor and his support of socialized health care. Is Nader running again this year by chance?

Brennan is being put in charge of a vetting process for targets of drone attacks. I think the idea behind this is to reduce our chances of sending out a drone, only to find out too late we've got the wrong guy. It's actually a very good idea.

You seem to have a paranoid fantasy, here, that Obama is out to whack you or something. As much as this fantasy probably appeals to you, you are not that interesting. Get over it.

Actually, I am starting to understand why I got so tired of hearing all the Bush-bashing by about 2006. The paranoid bull crap had gone off into fantasy land, and it was just getting ridiculous. All those 9/11 conspiracy theories were just plain dumb. The people who believed them were even dumber. The government is not intent on harming you, period.
