I rarely see a shortage of vitriol right here on the PPR Forum.

There seem to be plenty of angry persons who happened to be male, and who seem to be White, right here.

So AWM's are hardly an endangered species.

So...what are all of you PPR AWM's waiting for?
You all know who you are.

Standup and be counted!

Volunteer your services to Karl Rowe, Mitt Romney, and to the GOP now!

Tell 'em that you have all three of the major qualifications that they are looking for!

Lol!

Liberals have more justification for being angry IMO as they fight for the underdog stand against injustice. Conservatives OTOH usually back the "winners" of society and fear that pursuing a more fair and equitable society will upset the natural order of things or cause bad unintended consequences. The left is more motivated by anger over injustice while the right is more motivated by fear of society becoming dysfunctional if you upset the traditional power balance. Republicans are more scared than angry IMO.

And ultimately, I think it is insulting. It supposes that voters are too ill-informed, too stupid or too lazy to make a choice based on a complex of national interests, and are confined to voting only on their individual interests.

I, too, find it insulting. However, politicians only pander and deceive based on what it is the people want (even if the politicians don't deliver on their promises). So as long as the majority of people continue to let trivial social issues and tribal ones decide their vote for them in a so-called "free and equal" society this will always happen.

Why would anyone identify is essence and being in terms of skin color which is (1) superficial and (2) accidental ?

Identifying according to one's religion or philosophy or trade or function makes more sense because these characteristics correspond to voluntary states.

Because politicians know they can manipulate people better regarding prejudice, rather than appealing to their best interests regarding religion, trade, or philosophy. It's the superficial that humans seem to regard as most alien.

Well, THIS angry white male is angry against the intolerance and hypocrisy of religions, his ex-wife, people with no sense of humor in positions of authority, and anyone who cuts him off on the freeway.

I don't see Aspies doing that as much as I see NTs doing that nonsense.

No, just to the point of flipping them off, getting five or six cars ahead of them, and then slowing down to the speed limit.

H.P. Lovecraft, who almost certainly would have been the poster boy for Asperger's if he lived today, had been a noted racist and Antisemite for much of his life.
He did change his views with age, though.

As Karl Marx once said, "Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of a heartless world, and the soul of soulless conditions. It is the opium of the people".

I don't do drugs.

Maybe if religious leaders would not act like drug-pushing pimps, I'd have more respect for them and, by association, what they are trying to preach.

I like to think that he is too embarrassed by the truth to show his hand in this thread.

(Appearance of Inuyasha in ... 5 ... 4 ... 3 ... )

I'm amazed that people still go in for that kind of ultra-tribal politics in the U.S. - it just seems so pathetic and zero-sum in many ways.
