No as America are our allies it would not be good for us Aussies.

The u.s. not only survived a mammoth civil war that killed off 4 percent of the population. It subsequently thrived and grew even more powerful and populous.

The U.S. will probably have to contract its military operations. It is the Forever War that is bankrupting the country.
